This story is a sequel to The Pony Guard (Season 2)
Following the events of the Canterlot Wedding and learning that Scar has returned, the Lion and Pony Guard must prove to everyone from both worlds that the bond between the Pride Lands and Equestria is meant to be together as one. But Scar has plans for that and his ways to ensure that both the Pride Lands along with all of Equestria is his and is not going down without a fight in a way that will not only test that bond but also the Lion and Pony Guard's bond together.

I get that Scar wants the Pride Lands. But, why the heck does he want to take over Equestria as well?! Is he that greedy?!
Plus, you STILL didn't answer my question on how will you put in the rest of the MLP Seasons? When the Lion Guard only has Three Seasons. And we already finished both MLP's and the Lion Guard's two seasons.
And while the Lion Guard only has one left. MLP still got Season 4-9 ( And the Equestria Girls Spin-Off and Movies. ) and MLP: Movie to go though.
Wow. That was great, and I guess the battle with chrystalis and scar made the rules on who will be king or ruler in equestria standards, is being question after they lost a fight brawl and scar leaving twilight that scar on her face reminds me of Kion for the battle of pride lands special, and looks like twilight friends are going have to help her with that before it gets worse. But awesome job.
Okay, that was epic, and twilight didn’t hesitated on giving spike the heart, that was good, and at least twilight scar of darkness calmed down and forgive her friends and man things are about have more adventure and man scar is really relentless when he forms a plan and that it will continue, I can’t wait for the next chapter, keep up the great work

The desire to conquer Equestria is steaming from the fact of the alliance Simba and the Guard has with the Princesses pose a threat to his plans to maintaining his power hold. So he wants to neutralize any potential threats before it can even happen.
And in answer to your other question, I'm stretching the Lion Guard episodes out throughout this series, putting it together as I go along.

I actually like Character Bashing in most stories. But, only to characters that deserve it. But, she already got the message through to them, and is just acting high and mighty by now. I mean, if she is so "smart". Then why the heck DIDN'T she do anything to prevent that wedding disaster from happening in the first place?!

Though you have to keep in mind of what she went through at the wedding.
Yes she wasn't thinking clearly, and yes it wasn't her best approach to the situation, but no one was really listening or hearing her out on this so they try to find the best approach to the situation.. Everyone (minus Simba, Spike, and the Lion Guard) turned their backs on her instead of hearing her out or even sticking by her side. And not one of them bothered to look for her before the wedding.
Her brother who's she's hardly seen recently and started growing farther and farther apart from kept her in the dark about the wedding and then harshly berated her before kicking her out of the wedding all together.
Yes he along with Celestia regret the way they treated her, but considering they hadn't seen Twilight since the wedding and hadn't told her they were sorry during the time she's been rethinking her views of friendship in regards to them along with the Guard.
This following up after with when Discord briefly returned and her breakdown in Lesson Zero, and growing up in magic kindergarten, there's no doubt that her faith in friendship was clearly shattered there from betrayal and broken promises with the wedding fiasco that everything taken into account in regards to friendship has been ignored in one fellow swoop was the final nail in the coffin for her. Not to mention gets scarred for her troubles both emotionally and physically.
So in regards to what you view as "childish." you can't really blame her for giving the others the cold shoulder given what she just went through.
Also, you know you do have the choice not to comment or continue reading all together if you don't like what I'm putting down in this story.

What you say makes sense. I guess I’m just tired of reading the same thing over and over again. Still, that doesn’t excuse HER. That’s more where my problems are coming from.
I told you before I like this story and are curious to see where it goes, and plan to quit it with the whining. I can only say I dislike a character so many times.
The way I see it, Scar always had darkness in his heart and has had a crave for power. Taking over the Pridelands again would be nice, but now there’s another kingdom and filled with magics and powers I bet he’s dying to know about, now that’s why I think he wants Equestria as well as the Pridelands. Just hope he’ll gain more knowledge of the heroes, villains, the Tree of Life and everything else all together so he can find a way to attain victory

I was expecting Scar to do something with the pond. But I guess he knows better than to have another him around. That would get problematic once it starting thinking for itself.
Awesome work, now Pinkie learned her lesson from that whole Pinkie Clone Fiasco and looks like scar is still watching them and I think twilight dark side is getting worse with that scar on her face, but anyways awesome job there, keep up the great work. And quick question, is twilight gonna have that scar when Kion get his and the guard and their friends venture to the Tree of Life for a cure, because I’m wondering if this story go far to season 9 and to the season 3 adventure of the lion guard mix together. Just asking
I do like the interaction with Rarity and the mothers. Nice little moment of character.
Also, Twilight forcing the jackals out twice. I’m not the only one seeing the red flags from that. I mean, I know Kion does it too, but after season 2 I do not trust Twilight on her own.

Awesome job, and while that was dead for the cmc and babs fee to be even for the outcome, it was the good thing the guard was there to tell applejack and help the young ones out of there in time. Awesome job there, keep up the great work and I am wondering what will happen between twilight and trixie in Magic Duel, because with twilight scar making her dark self surface with that attitude of hers and with Trixie alicorn amulet, I think it will be a intense duel there

Well, this chapter went slightly differently than I thought.
I was expecting the other three LG club members to be more involved. Then again, if they picked on Moto those brats would have both an angry hippo and angry mother elephant after them. And that would be their finale.
Still, I did enjoy seeing Gumba and Shauku defending their friends. They clearly show the spirit they’ll need if/when the passing of the torch comes.
Any way: next chapter. I’m concerned, for Trixie. Ponyville has two unstable and frankly untrustworthy alone sorcerers, and I’m expecting one of them to do major damage if Twilight doesn’t already.

Things aren't exactly going well, what with Twilight's scar corrupting her. Add an Alicorn Amulet corrupted Trixie to the mix, and things are going to get EXTREMELY messy to say the least.
On the bright side, the dark magic in Twilight's scar "might" give her the edge over Trixie, ....maybe.
