This story is a sequel to The Pony Guard (Season 5)
After escaping another near death experience from Scar's clutches, the Lion and Pony Guard continue their efforts in trying to keep the peace as the war he started continues to drag on as he starts making moves to try to take over the two kingdoms piece by piece.
At the same time, Starlight Glimmer is adjusting to friendship along with her new role as the Lion Guard's newest member. Question is, can she prove herself worthy of her position and show that she is taking after her mentor, the Princess of Friendship?

Okay, a little confusing exactly what was going on, but I think I figured it out enough.

Either way, Scar has a plan now that the flyers are grounded. And since it’s a while before a canon episode involving flight is on the roster, I think we’re in for a possible original scheme that’ll really shake things up. Possibly literally
I really commend you for rewriting the Wonderbolts and making them more likable here, especially Spitfire. Yet, we still don't know what her nickname is. Though given everyone's reactions, we're probably better off not knowing.

Huh, interesting touch that Twilight and Kion actually gave Gabby not only a Cutie Mark, but a mark of the guard just like the Lion Guard fan club. I kinda still wonder if the fan club will also get their own Cutie Marks. I mean Kyoga got one after expelling the darkness in her when the guard first confronted Zira and the outsiders (and accepted Kovu into the Pridelands and Equestria), Kion got his when was revived and became a lion/alicorn hybrid. The rest of the guard got theirs when they regained their guard marks during the first confrontation with Starlight and now that Gabby has both a cutie mark and a mark of the guard. When’s it gonna be their turn to get their cutie marks?
I also kinda wonder if she might assist in the war against daddy, the outlanders and all the other villains since she’s an honorary member of the guard like the fan club
