This is a complete reboot of the original Trials, and all the ponies; etc.; in it are the usual, show-canon quadrupeds.
10807168 Except that Trials, either the original version, or this one, are not Fall of Equestria!
There is NO King Dainn, NO colored collars; etc.
NONE of the crap that makes those stories so ridiculous.
And NONE of the ponies OR Caribou in these are anthros, and never have been.
(Well, maybe except for the minotaurs if/when THEY show up, but no one else.)
I strongly suggest that you read some of Nightsong's stories that have the Caribou in them to fully understand what they're like in HIS stories.
Again, I also recommend reading the ORIGINAL Trials to get a better idea of what they're like in it.
But remember; as I, and Nightsong have said; this is a TOTAL reboot of the original Trials, so things are gonna be WAY different from it.
Just wait and see what he has in store.
