Sure do. These are bird talons, which are even worse. Those can go right through your skin with no effort. I saw an amateur rescue of a mid-sized bird of prey that was drowning in a lake and couldn’t get out. A woman reached her arm out to let it climb on to it while they got it safety, which it did. She was bleeding profusely from the points of the talons gripped on her afterwards.

It was unquestionably difficult to see, though the least Gilda could say was that the sight of them provoked no memory flashbacks given their severely sick state. Fortrakt had then requested to see Tara’s wounds, which Staff Sergeant Cullen sharply advised against. But when he insisted, he sighed and pulled back her blanket to reveal not one, but two sets of angled slashes only slowly healing on her upper back. They started near the neck and went diagonally down across the shoulder blades towards her sides, and worse, the leftmost set had bisected her flower tattoo, ruining it.

I haven't really read the Eros chapters, I was too uncomfortable with it and hit a bit too close to home due to some bad experiences.
I really do love this story though and I look forward to the future chapters

She does indeed. They all remember what came before the cider just fine. It only affects recollections of when they’re under the influence of it. So yes, she’ll recall decking Dana or Fortrakt standing up for her. But he/she won’t remember what they did under the influence past the first mug or so of it. For now. Will they be lovers again in the future? That remains to be seen, but I’m pretty sure I know what folks will want to have happen, so out of simple fan service, it probably will.

Not so much that as the simple fact that the Marines don’t salute each other indoors, period. The Navy doesn’t either. In this case, they’re trying to accommodate griffon military customs, so they’ll salute Gilda or other griffon officers indoors, but not human ones.
