I honestly don't know what to think about the ending to this chapter... I flat out can't see how I can argue why I don't like what happened without it going against the plot or just sounding like an arsehat *nervous sipping* but yes I still enjoy this story.
That being said... WTF...
11394130
Dude, relax. if you don’t like it, you don’t like it. I’m disappointed to know it wasn’t well-received, but I also don’t hold that against you. I knew full well going this was going to raise eyebrows and might even cause some readers to leave. But I stand by that it was the right place for it and bumping the rating was the right thing to do. All that said, I hope you at least enjoyed what came before it, and understand what led to it. Because plenty more combat is to come.
EDIT: And for what it’s worth, by the end of the chapter, *they* don’t know what to think about it either, now that the moment has passed and their passions have subsided.
Yeah, don't like the sex scene, the only porn I want in this story is gun/military porn.
That said the rest of the chapter was chef's kiss
11394143
A bit of clarification... I'm not pissed off, im just shocked that, that happened when it's pretty much hardlinging Gilda and Marco were supposed to be together... its a mix of exasperation and shock with disappointment mixed in... mostly with Gilda's inability to perceive what's happening and that for all her regret she still wasnt as upset as one would expect...
11394147
You worded it better than I did
11394163
I see. Thanks for the clarification. I’m going to spoiler my answer for those who haven’t read the chapter yet.
Yes, they are and will be. But there’s a couple things you need to understand, and maybe something I didn’t convey well enough. What happened here was not a deliberate betrayal of Marco or anyone else. She didn’t plan or intend it, and neither did her partner.
They were blindsided, ending up basically in each other’s arms after surviving a desperate action including facing off with a dragon—an action in which they saved each other from certain death. That’s a very powerful thing, never mind the fact that the cider is still in her system boosted by combat, and she failed to take opportunities to relieve her urges earlier with those she would have chosen.
I have it on very good authority that post-combat coitus is a very real thing among soldiers, and it tends not to respect prior boundaries or partners. It’s just the nature of the beast, and given what happened in Eros (which I have no idea if you’ve read), she and Marco have already had multiple partners whether they remember them or not. If it’s bothering you that she’s not upset, I would say that A) she can’t be right then because she still has a battle to command, B) She doesn’t hate him, and C) she understands that ultimately, she needed that, even from an unexpected source.
That’s not to say that some form of emotional hangover won’t be possible later, and other issues you can probably guess will eventually arise. But here and now, it was just something that needed to happen, made more or less inevitable by all that preceded it. And who knows? It might just lead to better things between the griffons and Ibex later.
I don’t know if that explanation satisfies you, but that’s basically what I was going for here. I need to see what other feedback I get before I decide if changes need to be made. In any event, thanks for your feedback. And don’t worry if it’s negative with me. As long as it’s constructive criticism and not insulting, I don’t mind.
11394084
I thought you'd like that. A little House Targaryen touch. Even more fitting, seeing how the Dragons would be fighting alongside them too.
11394261
So I can see your point, and I appreciate that you shared you point of veiw. I have heard of "Post Combat Coitus" especially since it's prevalent in alot of movies and stories. You've made a good point on a lot of your talking points as well, I guess it's mainly me being they way I am when it comes to romance and the acts involving them. The relationship triangle is more like a spiderweb at this point... lines all over the damn place and it's mildly amusing. I'm still gonna read the hell outta the story cause I like it.
Bloody fine action and a very unexpected one night stand Gilda know experience 3 male species, lucky Eagless
Typical classic 'i know that zombie' moment. I guess blood loss / battle fatige can do that to one...
Do we get Lightswords after the Bowcasters? Totally hear Starwars after the Wookie comment of the Marine...
I guess every Cloven soldier has now a limited range attack? Reminds me of the Starcraft1 &2 Hydralisk.
I guess Cloven pure form are like a Russian RPG, high performance but one time use?
Like they have a limited high performance in stamina and a limited Spike number to use and afterwards they are used as brute force melee and canon fooder?
Sooo... Who will get lucky eventually with his potencial magical seduction? Male Griffon on female ??? Once they are finally on friends territory a good old after battle adult party
Ignoring the Lust escapade, the battle enhancing effect of the Zappapple Fertility potion is impressive!
Thea Alchemy boosted Griffons of old must have been living battle machines...
Like in 'Into the Storm: The Flight of Firefly'
It maybe good ones hit to keep a target in place or psychological warfare. So vs non cloven it sure will be effective...
11394265
In all honesty, I’ve never watched Game of Thrones or its new prequel. I just know of it by reputation at this point, and from hearing the grousing of my coworkers after they watched the apparent abomination that was season 8.
Dragons and griffies are actually natural allies, in my view, and I’ve written them like that elsewhere. Perhaps the war with the Cloven will renew or reestablish that here?
11394147
Then I hope your porn habit was sated by the battle sequence.
I have my answer! And hey, if you don’t like the sex scene, that’s fine. I’m just glad you enjoyed the battle because I worked my flank off on it.
11394442
And lucky males!
You’re not wrong. Poor Emerald Inferno. She’ll be heard from again.
Can’t say I was planning that, but you can bet someone would try to magically make one after seeing Marco show them Star Wars. Actually, did you know some enterprising folks have already tried making one with some success? Meet the protosaber:
Not yet, but they soon will. And will use it against our heroes.
They’re all expendable in the doctrine of the Cloven, especially since they’re recyclable. The only ones who aren’t are the as-yet unseen Overlords.
These are good questions, and I’ve discussed them at some length with my prereading team. We’ve worked out some rules regarding the Cloven and how they create/evolve their forms--and what it might potentially cost them. Suffice it to say, their resources actually aren’t limitless; it just seems that way right now. There are ways you can attrit them, and they’ll come into play later.
There are plans for additional encounters involving or at least seen by Gilda, even in the course of the main story. But what you’re asking for would probably require Eros. Which is not to say it won’t happen.
Indeed. I didn’t want it to be just about sex, even if it’s hard to separate from it. It does confer combat advantages, even if it makes post-combat coitus more likely afterwards.
Alchemy is more a zebra thing in my verse, but yes, they had some ways to enhance their battlefield performance via potion and other means back then, and even now. We’ll see if some of that comes into play later.
11394459
Gotta admire that guy’s commitment to his craft, and it sounded like that thing was really heavy and awkward to wield. But given our diminutive dragoness is based on a certain character many know well, I’m sure she can make it work.
11394462
Good music and game! I’ll try to use the track later in the story.
11394274
And thanks in turn for hearing me out and not just storming off in a huff. I really do appreciate it.
Indeed it is, and be also aware of its bookend counterpart: pre-combat coitus. As in, throwing caution to the wind and having a very passionate fling because you know there’s a damn good chance you’re going to die soon. That happens a lot too, especially when defeat and death seems more certain. You can bet it will come into play later as well. Or hell, if Gilda *had* taken the chance to be with her human friends earlier, that’s basically what she would have been doing.
Perhaps, and part of this is due to me being a clopfic writer first a lot of the time. It’s kind of what I do, but if you think I’m cutting loose here, I’m really not—stories like Midnight Rising or Eros are where I actually do that. But in my defense, this is the Gentlemanverse, where multiple partners are the norm. Just understand that I’m not neglecting the societal taboos at play, and you’ll certainly see evidence of Gilda or even the Ibex having some trouble dealing with this later.
But those taboos kinda get thrown out the window quickly in circumstances like this. Bottom line is that the bonds of combat are very real, and they can very easily lead to intimacy, even between those who wouldn’t otherwise consider it.
And that, sir, is all I ask. You’re still going to get far more combat than sex in this story, so don’t let any ambivalence about the latter spoiler the former. Whether sex or battle, just sit back and enjoy the ride. Because I’m greatly enjoying writing it.
I just checked all comments of the story. Had to replace quite some of my older links with new once.
One thing i deeply regret is that by downloading a story i don't get a copy of the comment section. So many great view points left behind.
High-Octane action in this chapter, Sensei! I won't lie; the sex itself didn't fulfill a particular kink of mine -- earplay aside! - but it felt justified enough for me. I really like KK a lot, even if I mentally keep referring to him as "Starshina". He's one of the most hated people in the story, save for the actual Cloven, and does that get him down? Fuck no! He's tough, he's handsome, and he has a job to do, goddamn it! He's not going to let a thing like generational racial animus keep him from doing what he can to kick the cloven in the nuts.
In the Griffon Kingdom, where people fight at the drop of a hat over some nebulous concept of "honor", it's nice to have someone there who fights for the greater good. I think it speaks to the maturity of this buck that he values something greater than himself and, indeed, even his own nation. Based Starshina! We can learn from a guy like you.
Loved the chapter and can't wait for more!
awesome chapter.
11395088
Good! I know a griffies aren’t generally your thing, but I did throw in the earplay for you. And thanks for the compliment you gave me earlier on the narrative flow and prose I used in the trailing scene. It was very flattering. I’ll try to have something you’ll enjoy more later.
Hey, I like the guy too—that’s why I let him have Gilda! I set the Ibex up as an enemy but it was never actually my intention to make them the bad guys. They’ve got every reason to fear humans allying with the griffons, and the Starshina himself makes no (figurative) bones about his loyalties or intentions. But he’s also smart enough to know when all the usual crap between the Kingdom and Ascendancy must be set aside. In that sense, he’s actually one step above most of the Ravens right now, with the possible exception of Ebon Umbreon.
Word. *brohoof* You’ll be seeing plenty more of him, both in battle and likely in bed before all is said and done. He’s just too good a character not to use for either at this point.
Loved the chapter and can't wait for more!
11395432
Thanks!
I don’t know how I’ve missed this story for over a year. The original Feathered Hearts was great, and I’m ready to grind out 300,000 thousand words.
11395785
Welcome and enjoy!
Wow...this chapter was hot, in several ways!
I hope non of the cloven get a nose full of Gilda, or we're on the fastest way to tentacle hentai doujinshi territory!
11396053
Exactly what I was going for! And thanks for finding that one typo you reported to me via PM. It never ceases to amaze me how my prereaders and I can do pass after pass on these chapters and still miss stuff like that.
11396311
Not that kind of story, sorry. Which is not to say that some slightly tentacle-ish action might not be possible later or that they weren’t noticed by something other than the Cloven... But hey, if that’s your thing, you can find tons of it over in my recently finished story commission Harmonic Resonance:
[Adult story embed hidden]
11395785
PS: 300,000 thousand = 300,000,000 words. That’s three hundred million, and that might take me just a *little* more time to write...
All jokes aside, hope you enjoy the relaunched story!
11396403
Hey, I do what I can.
Obviously I love your writing and this story as a whole, and bumping up the rating and sex in this story doesn't bother me. But what does is just the sort of...bad feeling the end of this chapter has left. I can only really sum it up as, "Damn, that's a feels bad right there.". The story had this sense of tension between Marco and Gilda as these two lovers that were going into this incredibly dangerous situation, and she was saving them getting back together until afterwards. As the battles raged on and they got closer and closer, it was becoming more gratifying as a reader to see them getting through it. But for all that build up that was happening, and then for this to happen... I don't know. It just feels like a massive deflation in how I feel about Gilda and just things in general. I get the cider is having its effect again and it was a very spur of the moment thing. But it's one of those things that as I read it just kinda got sadder and sadder. Props to you though for making me, a reader, feel a gut punch at something I thought would be a wholesome pure reunification being smothered LOL.
11396735
Thank you for saying so. I admit I’ve been worried about how readers would take the rating change.
I am genuinely sorry to hear that. Can’t say that what’s I was going for, but for what it’s worth, reading your comment is a feels bad to me as the author. I thank you for being so candid about your feelings and your reasons behind them while also remaining respectful. So let me try to give this the answer it deserves. Apologies if it’s a bit long-winded at times and for the spoiler tags, but I don’t want to give away the game here for those who haven’t read the chapter. And thank you for not spoiling things in your comment.
Neither do they—by which I mean, Gilda and Karin Kazal. I don’t think it’s a spoiler to say that Gilda will feel guilt over this even though she more or less understands why it happened and that ultimately, neither of them are really at fault here given the circumstances—except insofar as she failed to relieve her building urges with Marco and his friends earlier when she had the chance, which she now regrets quite ruefully.
Here’s a question to ask yourself. Gilda asked him why he saved her, but he wasn’t able to answer before things started to happen. What do think he was going to say? The answer may surprise you and will cause him to feel his own measure of guilt over this, given what happened at least partially contradicts why he did it.
Again, I’m truly sorry to hear that. So what I would say to you is to first remind you that it wasn’t just the cider, or even her unmet urges. That alone wouldn’t make her act like that, least of all with someone she didn’t think deserved her—Even in Eros, she only let Marco do anything because he had proven his courage and honor to her.
But her surprise partner unquestionably did. Remember—he saved her life at enormous personal risk when he didn’t have to and could probably have gotten away with letting her die. Ditto with her returning the favor, given he could no longer help her and told her to flee.
And that’s to say nothing of the fact of him already saving Marco and her entire force at least twice before. To say nothing of having this sequence end with the two of them being chased down by a dragon, which they only escape by a fur and feather’s breadth from the strikes of two stinger missiles, knocked hard into the cove and passing out in each other’s arms.
So after all that, is it really that unbelievable or somehow shameful that she would find him worthy and wish to reward him? That something like this would happen as they come to and find themselves in a compromising position, with some surprising privacy during a peaceful pause in the action?
I said this in an earlier comment and I’ll say it again here: this is a perfect example of something called post-combat coitus, which I have on good authority from the combat vets I know is a very real thing. It’s basically the often-inevitable result of risking your life together with someone else and is basically a mutual celebration of survival afterwards, for you never feel so alive as when you get close to death.
It can forge very intense and passionate encounters like this one; it also tends not to respect prior boundaries or partners. And finally, I’d remind you that given the events described in Eros (which I have no idea if you’ve read), she and Marco have already had multiple partners by now whether they remember them or not. Indeed, she would have no issue at all with being with Chris or Tara right now, either. Especially Tara, who Gilda considers to be everything she loved about Rainbow without all the baggage.
Oh, yes. And there’s in fact one other major complicating factor at work here yet to be revealed--something else that happened to help cause it. Unfortunately, I can’t even drop hints about that right now except to say there’s going to be one final major twist at battle’s end.
Again, I sincerely apologize if that’s what it did to you. I swear I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone, even if I did worry about how this might be received. But be assured that reunification will still happen in all its M-rated glory. That’s not say that explaining this won’t be a bit awkward, and there’s no guarantee that there won’t be more instances of stuff like this happening later, either because of surviving combat or because of anticipating certain death in the battles to come.
But it won’t even remotely end things between them. The only thing it *will* do is make her a lot more willing to indulge herself with him and others she deems worthy—to not try to save herself for an unknown tomorrow or some other ideal circumstance that may never come in wartime.
Anyway, I hope at least some of this makes sense to you. Be looking for a blog post later when I address a lot of this.
A new FH, sleep is for the weak.
11396819
I appreciate you taking the time to make a reply that extensive. I think like that other dude said, its just sort of the shock of post eros cider incident that another sort of...psuedo heat of the moment incident would happen.
I definitely don't disagree with you here, something like that happening seems very real. Still been ruminating about this chapters ending and overall how it fits in the story. The story itself, the combat, death, etc... it's overall a very serious, dark, and by that extension, real tone. Which I suppose is where my issue comes in. I just don't think I expected it. like the romance between these characters that started out not knowing each other and then had this awkward encounter blossom into a relationship was sort of like this positive light in an overall very dark setting. At least in my mind. And with this pre-conceived notion which I guess came from the pre fight conversations and interactions, as well as the intro of the story being Marco and Gilda together. But this ending is like the story, dark and realistic.
I don't see dark as a bad thing, its just different is all, and has definitely sort of changed my perception on the characters.
Going back to this bit, and yeah no, from a griffon perspective, I would definitely say it was a 'worthy' reason in terms of griffon culture with exception being the whole taboo and norm breaking from it being a different species/enemy.
This is a very out of sequence reply so sorry about that, but yea, I've read Eros. I think the reason though why I didn't have an issue with the multiple partner thing then, was due to it being the relatively close to the start of the story, and it was an interaction with what was and I imagine will continue to be, the main cast of characters. (Main characters at least at the time, more being added potentially in the future yadda yadda). Because of that, it to me was sort of... the first forging of these relationships, and the journey was about refining what they meant. Which I suppose something like what happened at the end of this chapter is still just part of that journey, but it definitely feels like a bit of more of a bump, rather than a development. I'm definitely looking forward to how this pans out. It seems to me like it would be something that might sorta dig at Marco's head. Not only that, I think the reason why my perception of Gilda has changed as a result is that prior to the cider incident, Gilda seemed like this very...untouchable griffon when it came to emotional or physical connection, like she was keeping everything and everyone out romantically. Still teasing and bantering etc, but it was very much a rare case for her to show a connection to something else. (likely as a result of the whole Rainbow Dash emotional dump that was shown during the cider incident). Afterwards, with Marco and Gilda having anal as a sort of impasse at Marco halfway proving himself working out this aspect of their relationship and setting up an exciting buildup that would end up leading them to where we see them at the introduction. Which is why, at the end of this chapter, life saving and another flare up from aphrodisiac effects, it just seems a bit tragic to me, and a genuine shock.
Haha, no need for that sort of apology, I meant it as a compliment, the story you are making is a real heart tugger and I absolutely love reading it. I can confidently say I've never cared to have this sort of dialogue or interaction about any other story.
As for the future, I'm sorta just echoing previous thoughts. Basically if its something that occurs between the main cast then that's something I have no issue with. IDK I think with this case its just eh, definitely changing my perception on things.
Again, I really appreciate you replying, and I'm definitely looking forward to more. Hope you are doing well!
11396403
Yes I'm on HR. Just saw that a new chapter was up here.
As helpful as the love poison may have been in dealing with the combat situation by boosting their reaction times, I certain do hope that they're able to find some sort of cure to pull that shit out of their systems! That shit has quickly become a greater danger than the Cloven...
11396403
uh-ooooh!
This sounds like BOB might have been watching while he was swimming in the lake!
11396902
Hi. Just letting you know that I’m going to take this conversation to PM since it’s getting too long to really contain in comments. So look for my answer to your latest post there.
11397245
Cool! I didn’t think you’d read it, since you never commented over on HR.
11397720
Has it, though? It turned longtime adversaries into the unlikeliest of lovers, thus forming improbably strong bonds between them? Thus showing in turn that they don’t have to be enemies and laying the groundwork for possible reproachment between their raceslater? Hey, sounds like a fair trade to me!
Yes, well, it’s quite possible BOB is controlling me right now and making me write these scenes! Quick! Send help before I write another one!
As for the tentacles, let’s just say that our Ibex friends aren’t anywhere near full strength and haven’t demonstrated all they can do yet...
11397894
my bad lol
So the story is finally M-rated? I was actually surprised to see that something describing first-person action against literal zombies was T-rated in the first place. Anyway, you just gained the ability to describe hanged guts without any hindrance. Yay to the Cloven terror attacks, if the prospect of being turned into literal walking corpse wasn't terrifying enough.
As for the last scene - it is good for this story and really feels like it belongs where you placed it, but the Eros would have allowed to make it bigger. I can almost see how you discarded the idea of writing most of the action and instead wrote those short paragraphs mildly describing what happened off-screen.
And about the background for the scene - I fully understand how everything led to this, from griffonian sense of honour and mating rounds to Gilda apparently being so infused with spiked cider that she emits it when agitated or excited, but it is the first time I ever heard of post-fight coitus. Pobably because of very different army culture, but still.
All of this said - this is one of the best stories I read so far on this site and in the whole MLP fandom. The only thing I want to ask of you is to write it more.
11397894
I was referring to the fact that Bob is a changeling, and so tentacles would likely be just a feature of the form that he might use for swimming.
11397982
Hey, there’s nothing wrong what you did! It’s just that when trains of back-and-forth comment replies get too long or involved, I tend to want to move them to PM. You should have my reply now. Feel free to continue the conversation there if you like.
11398219
My word... is there no limit to Bob’s depravity???
11398204
It was T-rated because the source story by Demon Eyes Laharl was T-rated, and not all its readers liked clop. And I kept it that way for thirty chapters aside from the occasional R-rated moment, but now? Like I’ve said in my blogs, I just don’t want to have to hold back, especially as we’re getting to the point that stuff like this is going to become more common and even important to the story.
And now that the story rating supports it, I’m also planning to go back and update earlier chapters with more adult action. Follow my blog for more information about that.
Dude, you should know better than to give me ideas!
You’re correct. Eros would have allowed me to make it bigger, but I stand by what I said about it needing to be here for being an important part of Gilda’s journey and fitting neatly into the main narration. What I’m thinking now is I’ll use Eros for chapter-spanning stuff that would interrupt the flow of the main story, while shorter scenes like this one stay here. Of course, ‘short’ is a relative term given this still spanned 3,000 words...
I’ve had actual combat vets describe their own experiences with this to me. That’s why I say it’s a real phenomenon. Doubly so for a race like the griffies who more or less get off on fighting to begin with. That aside, thanks for saying the scene makes sense. It means a lot to me, since that was one of my biggest worries going in!
Why thank you, sir. More of it you shall have!
11398311
Heh! That probably is why the Cloven suddenly got so active lately!
11398204
I just realized I completely missed an important part of your reply. I’m sorry. Let me answer that now.
It was the last sentence of that paragraph I missed before, talking about me writing those short paragraphs mildly describing the action. And you know what? You’re not wrong at all. That’s exactly what I did. Why? Initially to try to keep the scene R-rated, but after that went out the window along with the story’s T-rating, I decided that to fill that in would require a full chapter and to do it here would interrupt the main narration for too long when we’re in the middle of battle. That kind of chapter is exactly what Eros is for, so I’ll eventually flesh out the sex there.
Rated M for Mmmmmhhh~♡
I feel bad for Marco. Yes the cider be doin cider things but he’s Gilda’s mate and they haven’t had a chance to have a mating round yet, and she let someone else ‘roost in her nest’ before him. Not to say the steam wasn’t enjoyable, it was, and if it gets an Eros chapter I’m sure it’ll be quite detailed and well written.
That being said, I’m just saying, Marco Needs a dub here sooner or later. I’m also slightly confused at this dynamic. Giraldi has a wife but can have more mates if they fight her, Fortrakt is into Chris, Gilda and Marco are mates, everyone loves Tara and they all wanna bang. Are they a harem? I’m unclear of their overall relationship, as I’m sure they are as well as Fortrakt still has to tell them all what happened that night, I’m guessing even they don’t know what’s happened. But as I’m writing this I have read every chapter from the start and caught up. This fic is GREAT!
11411441
Hey, she’ll feel bad for him too, but recall that he’s the only one who’s gotten her tail, which will shortly be made explicit in an M-rated update to chapter 14! That aside, I do have a couple questions to ask that she’ll eventually have to ask herself: first, did that someone else earn her through his actions? And second, is it possible an additional outside influence was at play there that won’t be revealed until later?
Also, keep in mind that things having been moving so quickly that in story terms, her encounter with Marco was only two and half days earlier and there’s been no chance for a proper round (which Marco can’t really fight yet, anyway). But given we’re now on chapter 29, chapter 14 feels like a lifetime ago at this point, doesn’t it? Considering all they’ve been through, it probably does to the characters at this point, too.
Appreciate the vote of confidence! There’s a great deal more ‘steam’ being added to earlier chapters, too. Watch my blog for updates on that.
I 100% agree. And even aside from what’s to come later in the story, you’re going to get a huge dose of it in the M-rated updates to chapter 13 and 14. I think you’ll be satisfied with what happens between them there.
Not quite. Giraldi has a wife but is allowed to have a lover when he’s away on long deployments, as long as they prove worthy of him in a properly fought round. Whether it’s socially allowable or not, you’ll find plenty of soldiers in real life who do the same thing.
No, though if you’ve read Eros you’ll recall that Giraldi is into human guys and now entertains fantasies of having an all-male harem whether he remembers it now or not. That may become more (mainly) Eros fodder later. As for the dynamic, I guess I’d more call them a close-knit clique of friends with benefits who bonded over the cider, and who at least know that they greatly enjoyed each other’s company even if they can’t remember the particulars.
Fortrakt aside, you guess correctly aside from a few fleeting flashes of memory and emotions, mostly from earlier in the night. They’re not entirely clear on it either, but somehow, when every day or hour might be your last, all those societal and other concerns really don’t seem to matter that much. It’s something I’ve mentioned in earlier comments about the scene that what happened here was a classic case of ‘post-combat coitus’, where both parties thought they were dead and are now immensely happy to find themselves alive and celebrate it with each other.
I have it on good authority from actual combat veterans that soldiers surviving combat together leads to very strong passions which can very easily get spent on each other, doubly so since they saved each other’s life here. And such powerful passions very often do not respect prior boundaries or partners. Pair this with its counterpart of ‘pre-combat coitus’ where you throw caution to the wind when you think you’re about to die in battle, and you’re going to end up with the basis of a lot of encounters in this story.
Thank you! You’re shortly going to able to go back and reread some of the earlier chapters when they get additional adult content added to bring more of the main story up to M-rated status. I hope you’ll be a bit more satisfied with the earlier encounter between Gilda and Marco then, as well as some of the additional interest I’m adding around it.

Thanks! Wait another week, and you’ll have plenty more of that added to earlier chapters!

Still no update... One thing comes to mind:
Friendship is magic with benefits ~♡
Do Cat birb chirp or purrr ?
Birb cat sure catched the one in a lifetime experience.
Multiple times 👍
Goat & Griffon just wanne have F~U~N
Gilda bucket list:
- Pony
- Griffon
- Human
- Goat
What would be next? Changeling or D-Dog?
Reminds me of a unfinished story where a Pony archeological Doctor/Adventurer ends up with a multi race Herd because he got cursed with Fertility...
Good times with a great plot (story wise)

That’s a line I’ve used in other stories, usually at the end of a clopfic.
Neither. They squawk and trill from their avian half. Their feline half can also growl and roar, but roaring cats don’t purr.
I’m not sure that’s what Cyndi Lauper had in mind when she did her music video!
Hard to be a bucket list when she wasn’t originally aware she wanted to do any of them! As for what else or who else she might end up tucking, we’ll just have to wait and see how the story develops. Any encounters she does have are to be appropriate to that point of the story and the established pattern of she’s willing to reward those who help her and her friends/mate, crossed with instances of pre-combat and post-combat coitus.
Thanks! Hope you enjoy the updated chapters. There are more coming!
Just read the latest chapter and I think it is absolutely fantastic. The battle between them and the Cloven is surprisingly gripping and the other stuff towards the end of the chapter does nothing but add so much to what is an already great story. I hope this story will keep going and I await the next chapter with my breath held and my arms wide open.
