I’ve had this on my list to read for a while now…and I’m glad I finally took the time to enjoy it! This is a very lovely story, honestly. You delve into Rarity’s personality and fears in a way few have. You brought the best and worst of her to light but kept it even with Coco showing her that she is still good and giving for all the right reasons. Rarity may have her faults, but she is still a beautiful pony deep down.
I like that you chose to have Coco tell Rarity that she is transgender. She knew she could trust Rarity, as Rarity had believed in her and gave her confidence in the past. It still took a great deal of courage to come out to a friend, especially one you have romantic feelings for. I hope it provides the encouragement to others be their authentic selves and trust that others will care for them unconditionally in return.
Thank you for this great little story. It definitely brought me a great deal of joy and a lot of hope.
