It's surprising how often those fillies get covered in tree sap and pine-needles.

Not a bad story. The fourth wall breaking did get a little distracting, though. You could have gone a bit farther with the conflict before resolving it, though, as conflict is where most of the comedy lies.
One nit-pick:
"the tall tres gave the property a sense of privacy"
The "tres" may be tall, but they should be one "e" longer.
More importantly, though, I'm enjoying the fic! One more thumb up --whatever thumbs are.
