I did not make this because of my opinions on the ending of the show; I simply want to expand upon the series and pick up where it left off.
I am not under the delusion that I can write as well as, if not better than, the original show; I am still a burgeoning writer, as opposed to the highly skilled team of writers, animators, etc. that worked on Friendship Is Magic. Thusly, I have dropped the 'Season 10' from the title, as this story would never be worthy of such a title.
Any and all constructive criticism is welcomed and encouraged. If you feel like leaving a dislike, then please tell me why so that I may have the opportunity to improve myself.
'Dark' or 'Light' mode are not recommended, as Rarity's text is near-white (my personal recommendation is 'Ultra Dark' mode). If you can see this, then you're good to go.

Though, I wonder why she didn't also send the Young Six, which might've helped, since they're not all ponies and have abilities that could catch this Tidal Surge, not to mention Silverstream knows Mount Aries and it's terrain much better than the others. I guess Twi really is getting overwhelmed, poor thing.

That's easy; they're still just kids, despite having already saved the world once (twice if you count them gathering their nations in the Ending of the End). Besides, 5 out of 6 of them aren't Equestrian Citizens, so her tired mind feels that she has no control over them.
Though I will say: Silverstream is already here on Mount Aris, visiting with her family.

I'm glad you think I did a good job at the characterization, because that was actually half of the premise behind this Premiere. I want to test my writing skills, so this first part focuses on the characters and their interactions, while the second part will focus on the story and action.

Why do I use colored text? Because it's more effort than not, and I'd like to show that I'm putting in effort. Plus, I like being able to differentiate speakers at a glance, and it also helps me make sure I give dialogue to everyone who needs it.
Personally I'd recommend using the setting 'Ultra Dark', because it uses gray text as the default.
