This story is a sequel to Flurry Heart's Story: Elements Assemble!
Silverstream takes Flurry Heart to Sugarcube Corner to introduce her to the Cake Twins when suddenly, Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich make a surprise visit. Flurry, Pound, and Pumpkin help Cheese with planning his proposal to Pinkie while Spike distracts her, but he starts to realize it is a lot harder than it looks and wonders if he's actually ready to ask for her hoof in marriage.
Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

Here's a possible story idea: Discord is reverted to an infant Draconequus and the others have to take care of him (In reality, Discord is still himself, and could have turned himself back at any time. He just wanted to help teach the kids a little about responsibility... which is quite interesting, considering... well, it's DISCORD teaching the lesson).
Another idea might involve a Frankenstein Monster-esque pony coming to town.

Aww, this was a downright adorable first chapter to this story. Love the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and sweetness. Really adored Flurry, Spike and Silverstream's chat with all four of the Cakes (especially the reflection on the "toy fight" mess and the fact that, indeed, Pound and Pumpkin DID forget all about it and Pinkie simply told them about it) in addition to Cheese and Pinkie's introduction to the story (the "Welcome Flurry Heart" song was great).
At any rate, very certainly looking forward to more of this.

That is a cute story idea, though if I did it, I'd have him be turned into a baby alicorn since in my headcanon, he started out as one. I also have plans to utilize Discord's alicorn form for when he was a kid along with Celestia and Luna, but I won't say much more than that because it gives away spoilers for an upcoming story.

Thanks! :) yeah, I'm still surprised at how well I'm doing with the songs. I was never much of a musician before, but coming up with the tunes and composing them in Garage Band and writing the lyrics just seems to be coming naturally for me these days.

About 2 years ago, I made older designs for all the Mane Six, and I decided to make Pinkie like that cuz I just thought it looked too heckin' cute (and let's be honest, out of any of the Mane Six, she's the one most likely to get chubby at some point). Of course a lot of my designs were debunked by their appearances in the Last Problem, but I'm either ignoring some of them or might let the characters age to eventually look like that. For example, Twilight will eventually grow as tall as Celestia and start wearing her gold regalia and Fluttershy and AJ's looks were ok to me. I wasn't much of a fan of Pinkie's crazy hairdo and I kind of would have preferred that Dash be wearing Spitfire's office outfit or Rarity looking like an actual fashion designer.

A while ago, I made a pic of Flurry, the Cake twins, AJ's twins, and Dash's son in a pic and decided to make them the sort of new Mane Six, and I immediately knew Pumpkin would make a great new version of Pinkie, plus she's been around her a lot so it makes sense. :3
This is already off to a cute start. CheesePie is one of my favorite ships, and I love the image of an even chubbier Pinkie. Plus, some adorableness with Flurry and the Cake twins. Can't wait to see where it all goes. =)

REALLY good job on this latest chapter. It took a while, but was quite well worth the wait. Again, the exchanges, characterizations, humor, sweetness and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places.
Yeah, I love how hard Spike and Maud are working to keep Pinkie busy while Cheese and the Cakes are working on the proposal plan. Yeah, they probably should have had this set up much sooner, but, well, even when they DO try to plan something out in advance, the plan still hits some snags.
But, yeah, definitely looking forward to more of this.
Spike and Maud teaming up to distract Pinkie is an interesting combo. Though hopefully they can handle three more hours of it.
Fit seems like somethings always seems to go wrong with big proposal plans across pop culture, in this case Cheese’s order is delayed. Though hopefully he can recover and everything should turn out fine.
