Brony since 2011. More of an artist, but slowly making my way into becoming a better author too! Known for Age of the Alicorns and Flurry Heart's Story.

This story is a sequel to Flurry Heart's Story: Cheesy as Pie

Flurry and Spike visit Rainbow Dash and her kids in their new home just outside of Ponyville. While Rainbow Dash leaves to go spend some time with her parents, her lively and mischievous son, Storm Streak tries to coax Flurry into running away to see a Wonderbolts show. Flurry won't let Stormy get himself into such trouble, but she has no idea how determined the little colt is to prove his mother's worth.

Inspired by the official show, this is part of a fan-made sequel series I created called "Flurry Heart's Story", which documents the adventures of Flurry Heart as she makes friends and faces new and familiar villains, some of which may still be redeemable.

Next story: Villains Anonymous

Flurry Heart's Story and its author are in no way associated with Hasbro or any of the creative team behind My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This series is entirely fan-made and is created in honor of the official show. No copyright infringement is intended or encouraged. Please support the official release.

This is looking good so far. I get the feeling I am going to like Stormy.

And the cuteness has already set in, with Mama Dash and her little ones. Stormy really does take after her. =)

I squee'd internally a lot while writing this chapter. :3

Three kids? Rainbow's been busy it seams...

“Yup. She’s my go-to mare for whenever I need a babysitter.” Rainbow told her. “She knows the house like the back of her hoof, and she can handle crazy little Stormy.”

Makes sense that Scootaloo would be one of the main ponies she'd leave with her kids.

Busy indeed! In this story, Rainbow met Thunderhead some time before the Trio attacked and they started dating a few months later. There's about 8.5 years between then and when this story takes place giving quite a bit of time for her to have kids. Me and my siblings are 2 years apart and my sister's kids are about a year apart so you'd be surprised at how fast some couples are at having kids in a certain amount of time!

Poor Spike he never stood a chance lol

Loving RD's family & their interactions with Flurry & especially Uncle Spike, that slaying bit was hilarious!!! :rainbowlaugh:

I am loving your OCs, Aleximus. These would do perfectly as RD's future children, both in terms of design and character. Dashie is such a proud mom.

“Yeah, he’s been begging me to get him the Radiance figure lately to complete his collection, but I keep telling him Heart’s Warming Day is coming.”

Kind of reminds me of my younger years when I wanted to complete my Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

My parents would always tell me "Christmas is coming" whenever I said I wanted something. XD

Lol good times 😅 and nothing changed because now I'm collecting amiibo for my super smash bros ultimate

YOu think that's bad, try being a person who collects Transformers, Legos, Funkos (some), Gunpla, and plenty more. :twilightblush:

Holy mackerel you know there's sometimes I wish I had that kind of money to get those kind of collections

The cuteness continues with Power Pony playtime, and now Scoot's here! I do like that you've made her able to fly, and I've no doubt she's an awesome aunt to Dash's little ones. =)

Hmm, a dark cloud seems to be looming over Stormy, though. Sounds like he doesn't like that his mom isn't a Wonderbolt anymore.

I have the money but I could have saved up thousands by now over the past 8 years. ^^;

It's obvious he's miffed about her not being a Wonderbolt, but there's something else he's up to...

Nice I should have done that long time ago lol 😅

I'm making better habits nowadays. I've been putting $100 in savings each week, but I wish I started a long time ago

“I asked Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle to help me out. We made a little catapult and launched me off a big rock over a pond just in case I fell down. After a few failed attempts, I finally decided to jump off of a small cliff that had a lake right below it. They were uneasy to let me do it, but I told them I wasn’t afraid. I sat there at the top for a few minutes, breathing deeply, and then finally I let myself fall off. I started flapping and suddenly I felt myself moving like I could control my direction. When I was about to hit the water, I angled my wings just right and started moving upwards. I kept flapping and before I knew it, I was flying!”

Leave it to the CMC to come up with the craziest of plans...

More sweet backstory about Rainbow & Scootaloo, glad that she's able to fly in these stories of yours Alex! :scootangel:

The story of how Scootaloo finally started flying definitely sounds like something the CMC would try. Glad she finally got to fly.

They should had her flying near the end of the show at least...

Yeah, it was so disappointing that they never went anywhere with that.

“If Flurry’s not gonna to help me, then I’m gonna have to do it myself.” he said as he flew out.

Oh you sneaky little kid kind of reminds me how Rainbow dash does that when she sneaks out

Ohh boy thats not good at all :twilightoops:

Oh jeez...This ain't gonna be pretty...

So that's what Stormy was upset about yikes 😥

Gotta admit, at first I thought Stormy just wanted to see the show no matter what, you know typical colt hijinks.......but what we got at the end there OH SWEET CELESTIA!!! I was just floored!!! :pinkiegasp::twilightoops:

Can't wait to see the reactions from everyone come next chapter, wonder how they will untangle this mess! :facehoof:

Quite the misunderstanding. Won't this be fun...

Nice artwork btw!

Yup, that's why he really wanted to get there.

Oh boy. Stormy is one of those kids that is upset their parent didn’t get to live their dreams isn’t he? Some blame themselves since they feel they got in the way, but Stormy seems to blame Spitfire for it instead.

“I didn’t quit the Wonderbolts because I wanted to, Storm. I did it because I had to. I wanted to stay with you guys. Sometimes we have to give up one dream to follow another.” Rainbow Dash said, putting her hoof under her son’s chin.

Wow Rainbow dash you really came this far having you that's pretty amazing you're a good mom rainbow

Great ending! (still marked incomplete?)

“Yeah, and we need to introduce you to Apple Chip and Annie Smith!”

And it looks like the Apple family is next for flurry heart to meet up with can't wait

Heh, good to know! Looking forward to the next story in the series!

Actually the next one is going to be about trying to reform Tirek. The one after that will be for the Apple Twins.

Oh ok cool and I think I remember that those three got release from their statue prison and I forgot who released them.

well who released them is a mystery we may not know for a while...

Ohhh very mysterious nice :raritywink:

Rainbow is a good mother to her kids. Guess she takes after her own parents there.

I wish this was in the show. This would definitely be a great sequel to it and the whole story fits. I really didn’t like how everything ended for season 9... or like the miss opportunities like having Rainbow Dash having a family. This is by far the best family for MLP that needs to be canon

Aw! It makes me happy to hear people say that! :)

I do recall the writers saying they wanted to stay away from shipping characters (which they obviously gave an exception for Pinkie and Cheese, but that one's understandable), so I figured we wouldn't see any offspring from the Mane Six, but I feel like Dashie would have been a great mom considering how good of a relationship she has with Scootaloo, plus it would be a great way to show how grown-up she has become. She was depicted as being too self-centered in the show at times, but her finest moments were with Scootaloo and any time she puts aside her ego, and I think her getting married to a stallion and having kids and being a stay-at-home mom would have been a good route to go.

Such a sweet and wholesome resolution to this chapter of Flurry's saga.

Dash never lost her sense of loyalty in all this time, and she's putting it on full display by being there for her kids, even if it meant giving up being a Wonderbolt. At least Stormy understands now that it was her decision, not Spitfire's. Still, he himself showed great loyalty for his mama by standing up for her. Spitfire's right: he'll make quite the Wonderbolt when he grows up. =)
