Cackling Moron

"Fluff" in the same way what collects under the sofa is fluff.

Sequels1

T

A horse appears semi-regularly. A magical horse. Mainly she comes to relax and take up space. She's polite and friendly but it did take some getting used to.

Still. Worse things have happened.

The Bun Bandit strikes when you least expect it.

10090907
The obvious joke here being, of course, "She can rustle my buns anytime."

But that would be crass.

he get complacent with her then Luna starts showing up too

Aww, that's adorable.

10090923
Fuck me, they'll all move in.

Also: don't give me ideas!

10090926
or alternatively he goes to work and the moment he walks out his door he pops out celestia wardrobe

Totes adorbs

10090929
I'm just picturing coming home to find the two of them in the middle of doing something they shouldn't and-

Goddamnit, no! I just did this one!

Wow. You're really on a roll with all these stories!

10090937
ah but have you done one where the ponies are pro herding?

You’re not imagining it

There’s a few stories here with most of the mane 6 and the princesses finding way to hang out in the human world.

My favorite was twilight also just flaffling around and watching TV/ movies.

I buttered my buns, unmolested by the horse.

Poetry.

10090952
If I'm writing about nice horses or thinking about writing about nice horses it keeps my brain from turning inward.

10090960
proberly for the best if one is trouble more is double :rainbowlaugh:

10090957
I meant specifically one where Celeatia kept showing up and making herself at home...

Oh well, I'm sure I'll stumble across again eventually.

10090962
I think it'd be fluffier if everyone just ended up cuddly friends

Yaaaay

Perhaps?

10090984
Nope, but that's going on my read later!

Ah, lost stories. Like that one with Sonata...

I think that one straight up disappeared, which is a shame.

I know I've read a few stories with Celestia just showing up at someone's house, but only one immediately springs to mind with it being a starting theme for the story, that being

[Adult story embed hidden]

(it's more of an adventure/slowish burn romance, but that's definitely not a bad thing).

10090972
for a pony that probably the same thing you cuddled you married cant wait for your next one keep up the quality work

10090962
I believe the joke is that the punishment for bigamy is having two wives.

10091042 That's big of me too! :trollestia:

My favourite one with Celestia just popping in had to be "How many friends have you made today?" im really sad the author quit and cancelled the final story in the series though :(

10091104
Ah yes, now that one I have read!

10091113
Great minds, apparently!

And I have a feeling that another throwaway comment of mine has managed to derail discussion...

Conspiracy theory time!!!!! All of your human characters are not in fact generally likable, goofy, pushovers! In fact they are normal people but the horses are using a combination of magic, mind controlling bacteria, and pheromones to erode and completely destroy the will of humans until they are nothing more than door mats!!!!! I’m onto you author!

"I'm a bun, I'm a bun, I'm a tasty, tasty bun! To be baked and kneaded, oh how fun! You can have me with breakfast, have me with brunch, you can have me with your dinner, you can have me with your lunch! I'm a bun, I'm a bun, I'm a tasty, tasty bun! To be baked and kneaded, oh how fun!" By Richard Watterson :moustache:

I could be wrong but I'm almost positive that has happened before on this site. As for all the princesses finding out how nice the guy is and inviting themselves over as well, that I don't think I've seen done. Not sure how that'd work either. Maybe a rotating schedule? And why not Chrysalis too? She's royalty, right? Besides, she'd like peace and quiet from herding cats- er, drones asking "do what now?" every second-- must get on her nerves and the biggest reason why she's so cranky.

10091492
Quiet! You'll give the game away!

Cackling, I am afraid it is far too late for you: once an alicorn gets entrenched and starts "nesting" and marking her territory with feathers, there is no shifting them. May as well make the most of it and make some of these molasses oat horsey treats. Mind you, it will not get rid of your guests. On the contrary, it will endear you even more to them, but at least the alicorn infestation will be contained to your flat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 carrot
  • 1 apple
  • 170g (1/2 cup) molasses
  • 180g (2 cups) oats
  • 65g (1/2 cup) unbleached flour
  • 15g (1 tbsp) coconut oil
  • 15ml (1 tbsp) water

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 150 Degrees Science (300-325 Freedom Units)
  • Grate the carrot and finely chop the apple
  • Mix together all of the ingredients. (You may need to tweak the amounts of the ingredients. You should be able to squeeze a ball of dough in your hand and it shouldn't fall apart.)
  • Roll and press into balls with your hands and place on a greased baking sheet. If dough is too sticky add more flour and/or water
  • Bake for about 28-32 minutes on the middle rack, checking on them often, until golden brown
  • Cool and store in a sealed container and use within a week.

:ajsmug:

I daresay you might find me quite comfortable, and I honestly don’t mind. I may even drift off myself, who knows?

10090955

one where the ponies are pro herding?

Horses can be quite...gassy... when sleeping. Multiple little ponies, I would imagine more so. The seldom considered drawbacks of sharing a bed a room a house with a large group of magical herbivores

:twilightoops:

Yet another Cackling story...yet another favorite. I wonder if there's any correlation...

Oh well. Thoughts for later.

10092105
I'm taking that breaking wind and putting in my pocket for later, that's gold, I can use that. Yoink.

reading this for a second time it made me want a reverse of this story celestia just doing her job as a princess and she get a human just showing up and acting nonchalant

Ahh this story is just pure bliss! What with the sweetness and the funnies, ahh this really hit the spot to read! I hope ya didn't mind but I made a lil reading for this awesome story of yours! :D

(I don't mean to offend anyone with this comment!)

10092565
At this point I mostly just write to lure you in. Ahahaha!

Still gonna do my own version though, for shits and giggles...

When Celestia wants to steal your sticky buns, she goes for the long con. :trollestia:

I can't help but wonder if the feather thing is some kind of pegasus signal that you're interested in another party.
...Or it's just Celestia being her mischievous minx self that we all know and love.

10092823
I have seen it used in a 'interested' way some other places here, but I just like to think she's fucking with him.

10092830
Fair 'nuff. It's still adorable.

10090989
Probably "How Many Friends You Have Made Today?", though i might be wrong.

10092865
That one I do remember - it's hefty!

I think it might have been the one about her being in the bed that someone posted below, though I might be wrong.

Meh. A thing.

I buttered my buns, unmolested by the horse.

"Well butter my buns and call me a biscuit, it's my old friend from Canterlot."

Had to do it. No regrets. Good story, nice and fluffy like those sadly missed buns. Have to agree with CrustyKing that it might have been Sarcastic Brony's "How many friends/lovers have you made today?" series. Truly a shame he didn't finish them but I respect his reasons for not and leaving. A lot of stories I regret not saving what was there before it was taken down. "Starfall" was one of them.

10093007
I can definitively say it wasn't that one, as the one I was thinking of was on Earth, but the other one remains a fine story.

And I do still miss that Sonata one, wherever it went...

10093013
I've got a bunch of stories like that. Shame I can only remember bits and not a title. As for the Sonata one, it has set sail on the sea of consciousness to find it's destiny.

A thousand leagues in search of tacos.

Oddly alicorn is a real term. Originally it was a way of referring to a severed unicorn horn, but Piers Anthony repurposed it to refer to a winged unicorn and apparently his work was influential enough to make the new use of the term stick.

10093026
If I'd had an account at the time I would have stuck it in the favourites! But alas, this was back when I merely lurked, rather than sat here writing bollocks.

Life. What a rich banquet. Possibly with tacos.

Man, Sonata's adorable. They're all adorable. I'll just take them all, please. Thank you.

10093032
I refuse to believe this. I take what you've said, wad it up, and throw it away.

Not in this house.
