I'm so sorry…

In the garden of Canterlot had a new statue, this statue was of Cozy Gloom, Tirek and Chrysalis. No. It wasn’t the sculptors who made the statue. The statues were indeed Cozy Glow, Tirek and Chrysalis. Each had a different expression: Cozy Glow had an expression of possible fear with the hooves close of her eyes, Tirek was gritting his teeth while his eyes were closed and Chrysalis’s mouth was open with her tongue sticking out with an angry expression, a position that looked like it was about to strike. Chrysalis might have been petrified with an angry expression, but inside the statue, she was reflecting on all her actions.

Chrysalis can’t help but notice how far she has been consumed by hate. When Starlight offered her hooves in friendship, she would have accepted if she hadn’t been so consumed with hatred of the ponies that made her subjects betray her. Chrysalis had never realized before how angry she was until it was too late. She had a chance to surrender and be forgiven. But unfortunately, she denied it and look where she was now.

Chrysalis might be a statue now, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t hear things. But unfortunately, she couldn’t hear what Cozy Gloom and Tirek were talking about. No one would listen to what she would say, she could be relieved. But she wished a pony would come here so she could talk about how sorry she is. But she knew it wouldn’t do any good because no one could hear, not even Cozy or Tirek would hear her what she was saying. She didn’t even know if the foal pegasus and the minotaur regretted it and probably she would never know. She closed her eyes as she sighed.

She opened her eyes sadly before seeing Twilight Sparkle approach her, Cozy Glow and Tirek in statue form. Twilight wore a yellow crown with a drawing of a pink six-pointed star. But Twilight Sparkle had a sad expression. Twilight Sparkle tapped a hoof on her forehead, “Why didn’t I act?” She asked herself. Chrysalis was confused. What was Twilight talking about?

Twilight Sparkle began to cry. Chrysalis was sad to see Twilight cry. She wished she could comfort Twilight. When Twilight stopped crying, she sat on her hips and looked at Chrysalis in statue form. But Twilight didn’t know Chrysalis was listening to her, “Chrysalis, if you can hear me, know that I will always believe you. Even if you are now statue-shaped, I hope that if you ever stop being a statue, please become good and rule with Thorax. Please, that’s all I ask”, Chrysalis was surprised by what Twilight said. The friendship princess saying she hopes Chrysalis will redeem herself? It couldn’t be true. Did Twilight always consider Chrysalis her enemy, and now was she saying she was sorry for the fate Chrysalis suffered?

Tears began to come out of Twilight’s eyes. Chrysalis felt sad seeing Twilight cry. She might have considered Twilight her enemy, but now she’s started until she likes and feels sorry for Twilight. Twilight looked back for a few seconds before flying away.

Chrysalis began to ponder what Twilight said to her. Chrysalis can’t help but notice that Twilight wore a crown. The crown resembled Chrysalis of Celestia’s crown. She didn’t know and probably never would. Maybe after a few years she would understand why Twilight wears a Celestia-like crown, “I never imagined Twilight would feel that way”, was this petrification spell permanent or would it be canceled when she and the others showed signs of regrets. But as much as Chrysalis wanted to deny it, she knew the spell was permanent. There was no way she could stop being a statue and tell Twilight, “Twilight, I’m so sorry. Could you forgive me?” She knew it was impossible because the spell wouldn’t undo, and probably never would.

Chrysalis looked at Cozy Glow and Tirek. She wondered if they both regretted it, maybe she would never know. But Chrysalis knew she had a change of heart today. And when she ceases to be a statue, that is, if the spell isn’t permanent, Chrysalis planned to go to Twilight to apologize for everything she did. She knew that Twilight would forgive her easily because the lavender alicorn was hoping Chrysalis would cease to be a statue, surrender, gain a new form of Changeling and would rule along with Thorax. Chrysalis didn’t even know if she should rule with Thorax, she wasn’t even a good queen to begin with. She was selfish. Chrysalis preferred that her subjects feed on love rather than share it. None of this would have happened had it not been for Starlight Glimmer, her subjects were still absorbing love. She wasn’t saying Starlight Glimmer was guilty and she hated that mare. I mean, she hated Starlight Glimmer at first, but now she started to think, and realized that Starlight Glimmer was trying to show her that Starlight wanted to show the former Changeling queen that she had another way. It was a pity she didn’t see it, only when her fate was to turn a Chrysalis garden statue that she realized how blind she was of hate. She never realized she was blinded by hate until it was too late.

Chrysalis heard footsteps. Her ears brightened. She looked where the sound was coming from. She realized it was Twilight. The alicorn carried with its magic a bouquet of red roses. Chrysalis realized that Twilight was crying. Although Chrysalis had seen Twilight cry, she couldn’t get used to it. When Twilight approached Chrysalis in statue form, she bent down and placed the bouquet on the floor next to Chrysalis. That done, she looked at Chrysalis before leaving the statues’ garden sadly. Chrysalis sadly watched Twilight leave the statues garden. Chrysalis let out a sigh of sadness. She couldn’t stand seeing Twilight like that anymore. But what would she do? She was a statue now. There was no way she could comfort Twilight. What Chrysalis didn’t know was that its wings were glowing.

This is beautiful. It would be even more so if you got some help with editing and proofreading. For example, I can't tell if replacing "Cozy Glow" with "Cozy Gloom" was intentional or not. "Cozy Gloom" is rather fitting, though. Same goes with the previous story.

I'm so sorry. I already corrected

Chrysalis doesn’t strike me as a pony that would worry about what she’d done to others.
She’d fuss over her own sorry state and how she’d do anything to prevent ending up like that, like she did already, except there’s no more future that she could influence in any way (since she’s now literally a statue) and when she realizes that (there will be a phase, I’m sure), the only thing to reflect upon is the past or the present.
Something along the lines of:
“I would even trade my current life for the life of that traitor (meaning Thorax), just to breathe the air again. Dignity has too much of a price to pay.”
And then
“There are some things i only tell the most trusted of allies, and even then I’d keep some to myself alone. But now i have to admit, and since there’s no running from it, that there were things i wouldn’t even tell myself under any circumstances. So, after having done some thorough thinking over my situation many times like a madmare, I’d like to be open and frank at least with myself here.
I’ll tell myself straight, without much prelude or explanation, maybe, because i wanted to tell it myself a long time ago, and should have i said it any time before being petrified, it might have helped my situation. And because of that, I’m all the more vexed to tell this myself only now, when all is evidently lost and it’s too late for making amends:

I should probably have accepted Starlight’s offer.

I was simply nonplussed at the moment when my hive was ruined, along with my life as i knew it back then, along with loyalty of my servants (although, looking back from my current perspective, it was probably fear alone), and the only thing i have seen in Starlight through the lens of acute frustration is my mortal enemy.

Even though she was offering me salvation right then and there, i could have neither seen it nor accepted it. As i said already, i should have.

I should have drowned my damned dignity to stay afloat myself, i should have apologized to the ponies, i should have listened to, or even freed my servants, should they have asked. I’d have even shared all the love I’ve collected for the countless years with every other creature and had myself turned into goodness knows what, i’d have done anything, really, to keep my freedom to myself”

Didn't realize how much pain she'd caused? That's insulting to her intelligence.

To be fair, she does have a face you just want to feed Taco Bell to.

Keh, Chrysalis refusing Starlight's offer is the only saving grace of season 6 ending.

Though, now given the ending we are bound to get a bunch fics of her redemption/reform/repentance, which is annoying but understandable.

While Jim Miller implied their petrification is more like Twilight's than Discord's (a.k.a. they're asleep), we can do pretty much whatever we want in fanfiction.

But how can Chrysalis sigh as a statue?

This is the Chrysalis POV when Twilight went to the Chrysalis, Cozy Glow and Tirek statue. The first story was the Twilight POV

Good idea. But Starlight and Chryssy have hooves, not paws.
