Thanks to Chrysalis' change of heart inside the statue, Chrysalis was released from her statue prison. Twilight is surprised and happy to see Chrysalis reformed. Don't see why she wouldn't. Given she changed and is reformed, by all means she should get one now. This is what Starlight was trying to get through to her about after all and they'd have quite the conversation about it if it goes there.

I like the idea but personally I find this version of Twilight a little too eager for Chrysalis to be redeemed. They were never friends at any point, I know Twilight is forgiving like at the wedding but come on.
Man, to be brutally honest, you’re doing a poor job if you’re trying to write a novel. It’d be much better if you drop most concrete things and write it as though it’s a fairy tale - i imagine you’d be pretty good at that.

It is slow because they have not confessed and because they are not marefriends yet. They are just friends at the moment, and not knowing what they are feeling is what a feeling of love and not friendship

first this is a good story. but unless twilight become a stallion somehow then she was a filly when she was younger not a colt. this mistake happens more often then it should.
Yep, with how mechgamer points out, it would be ‘filly’ for the correct term for young twilight not ‘colt’
I don't mean to be nit picky, but I believe Twilight should have said filly instead of colt. Colts are male horses or ponies in this case. Like the story so far looking forward to what you have in store.

I must say that this is a pretty good story and it shows that it took a lot of effort, but for some reason and forgive me if I do not express myself correctly, it does not feel "good", maybe it is the reason that it is not as popular as one would think , although it is enjoyed.
When I say that it does not feel "good" I mean a relatively large number of things, how I make Twilight less perceptive, what chrysalis feel sad or sorry or guilty or all at the same time and that it stands out so much, I don't know because but it does not feel natural, there is also the fact that twilight is too relaxed despite being currently the only ruler of Equestria, having to do the jobs of both princesses, either taking care of all the political and typical affairs of the high society, or at night having to watch over dreams (something she doesn't do) which maybe I suppose Luna continues to maintain, that unless there is an existence like the tamtabus mk2, just very relaxed, almost stress-free at all, The fact that he has not told spike his feelings of sadness for not being able to reform Chrysalis, being that he is the closest to her, being almost a son or more than a brother, something that also left me out of focus, it is as if the normal ponys who are in fact younger than the Mane 6, or who were less present at events than they were, were able to recognize a fully reformed changeling queen with virtually no hint of their former self almost immediately and feel fear, while the Mane 6 didn't even notice they even asked who it was.
