Chapter 1
Hmm. I remembered seeing that stallion in the Rainbow Roadtrip episode. Didn't expect there to be a fic about it, but lo and behold here it is. It was a rather simple little sequence of happenings depicted here, but you wrote it pretty well. Gotta say, the biggest surprise for me here was finding some reference to a story I wrote in the author's note after. Haha!

I actually think that's fairly different. I mean, all of the Mane 6 use the same body base, except for that now Alicorn Twilight is a little taller. Apart from the mane style and freckles she actually looks fairly unlike Applejack - the mane is even two-tone and she doesn't wear a hat. With the stallion here, he genuinely looks like someone replaced each of Big Mac's solid colors with another solid color, changing nothing but the cutie mark.
Kind of expected her to show back up with Mac in tow.

Look closer. Applejack has those two lines in her Mane and tail, the same way the Green One does, except it is filled in. Sorry, but they still look exactly alike.

I'm not saying they don't look similar. I'm just saying that the changes they made are such that the overall appearance invokes the sense of a different individual. The color change is especially jarring compared to Applejack's more earthy hues.
Great story, I loved Rainbow Road Trip, and the totally adorable proposal at the ending, great to see that there's some FimFics about it.
