you don't need to use the term "because of that crude remark" or any variant really it's kind of implied by the pony giving her the stink eye.
Besides that I like the story so far I feel a mix of different elements of inspiration in this story; the ranking system reminds me of the hero ranking for example. I feel like I've seen the three scars and a blind eye somewhere before but I can't remember where.

that be good crossover or have twilgith be like goblin slayer and rest of the mane 6 be rest of the party member who try to get her to be a normal advancer instade of just kill goblins, but I say her force should be on changelings,
this first chapter is interesting, but that twilight let someone die just in front of her for no reason when she can have easly save his life... even if she have a 'cold' personality, I don't think someone like her will let this happen (even more when she kill the mob just after).
Also, great Goblin slayer vibe here, hope the next parts will be good.
So, uh, fun-fact. The princesses are kind of useless. It really doesn't seem like it would make a big difference if one of them disappeared.

I mean, The show, while pretty much the only canon thing, is pretty awful with how strong the princesses should be. They're only useless in the show because if they were useful, Twilight wouldn't be needed, But they really should be the strongest beings, since they defeated all those threats at least once.
