Not too sure what to say. It's like an extremely summarized episode, including only the main plot parts maybe? Either way the writing is nice, it just feels short, like its not a story but as I said a summary. At least that's the closest I can come up with to describe how I see it.

I simply thought that the narration and dialogue fit the characters and comedy tone. It's not like an obvious amateur fiction where you can visibly see its fanmade, so I can enjoy it as a real story. To me, that's the most important part to writing since it directly impacts how I read it. All in all, since you meant it to be a short story, I think you did a good job writing it
