And yes, the story did get changed. Up until a few weeks ago, it belonged to my good friend Terry the Human, who had cancelled it a while back, and was going to delete it. I managed to convince him to keep it, and then transfer it over to me. He did so, and once I had it, with his help brainstorming ideas, we decided to almost COMPLETELY rewrite the entire story from the ground up, which was actually fairly easy to do, since it only had 1 chapter with fewer than 3k words! Now it's being given new life under new management, and will become the story that it's meant to be. I hope that you enjoy it, because it's going to end up being a very nice story.

And yes, "Wendelle in the Colony" is coming back! It would have been deleted by the original author, my good friend Terry the Human, as he lost interest in the story, and when we talked about it, I thought that his idea of where the story was going was WAY too dark, disturbing, and sad. I offered to help him revive it, but he wasn't interested at first. However, after more discussions, he decided to transfer the story over to me, and that's when I began to give it new life with a number of brand-new ideas. Terry is still helping me with this story every step of the way behind the scenes, so you have him to thank just as much as me, but I'm glad that you like the story so far!

Well it's nice to know that you enjoyed my "Battleship Express" Series. That's been my most popular series so far, though I have written a few other standalone stories that have been doing pretty well for themselves. I hope that "Wendelle in the Colony" will be no different.

Oh don't worry, I NEVER operate like that. I've NEVER had a character become a Mary-Sue, and I don't intend to start now! While it may seem like Wendelle's about to have everything, in reality I'm just lulling the readers into a false sense of security before the HUGE bomb-drop in Chapter 3, and the first part of Chapter 4. And even beyond this, there's a major war at sea, and PLENTY of other challenges to overcome. It's NOT a bed of roses for Wendelle, or Conner Dwight. Who's Conner Dwight? I mentioned him in the story's description, but he makes his debut in Chapter 3.
