The real villains were the friends we made along the way.

T

The ESS Lunar Shine, Equestria's first interstellar exploration vessel, has finally been completed. Its first mission was to investigate an unknown anomaly in deep space. However, when the expedition ends up going sideways, the crew of the Lunar Shine end up crashed on a distant planet. Hope is not lost, however, as they soon discover that life in the Universe is surprisingly plentiful. Now they must gather assistance from the various alien races across the galaxy and find a way back to Equestria.

Of course, things are never that easy, and sinister forces lurk in the depths of space. Can the crew of the ESS Lunar Shine make it back home before it's too late?

its a good game your a group of survivors stranded on a planet where you build a base hunt for food rescue aliens or other humans from raids protect you camp raids the occasional mad animal make caravans research tech to make your camp better there are also mod and scenarios including asari from mass effect medieval era warhammer 40k starwars a jedi and sith powers when a villager awakens in the force a chuthulu mod nazis ww2 faction xenomorphs and a anthro horse race that you can play as and add as factions in the game the purpose is to find a way off the planet or survive long enough to be rescued. its on steam right now for download. if you like i can send you the link to the base game the dlcs are very expensive but you dont need the dlc to use or play the game and maybe if you like the game you could create a fic to this. id make a group but i dont know how to make one or create one

I'm going to pretend any of that makes sense, while going back to Starbound, because that's the primary inspiration for this fic.

Star bound, really?
