The universe calls my sisters an I villains, just because of our nature. Because of this, we were exiled in a completely different dimension for five years. For five years we planned to get back home, culminating at the Battle of the Bands. In retrospect, it was always a bad idea. We were the "villains."

This is an interesting start. As always, a nice take on the Sirens' side of things. I'm definitely sticking around to see where it goes.

Thanks, it's always interesting to see a slight perspective shift. I hope you enjoy where this story will go.

You have my attention.

First your attention, next your soul mwuhahahahha. But I'm glad you like it so far.

How have they only been banished for 5 years, Starswirl the Bearded lived centuries ago?

How indeed? I guess you'll just have to wait to find out.

So, is this supposed to be a case of Unreliable Narrator? Or are we just supposed to forget how the sirens were reveling in the misery they were spreading and ignore the fact that the claim that all they knew was how to collect energy is a blatant lie, given that they used outright mind control on Celestia and Luna?

It's a different take on the sirens. Certain things have changed and it is to be assumed that everything they might have done in the movie or the comics, though I don't entirely believe the comics are canon, are changed slightly to fit this new narrative. Basically, everything Adagio says is true.

That ending sounded ominous. This was good. Kudos to Celestia, that's for sure. I'm interested to see how this all plays out.
