Yus an update
Damn, twilight. Trying to get trixie into a french maid outfit, HOTHOTHOTHOTHOTHOT
ahahahahah Rarity's last line made me laugh so hard!
"Twilight wasn’t asexual?"
You sure you meant Asexual?
Because even book-worms and nerds have needs.
It IS always the nerdy ones, because we're the ones with the weird brains and over-active imaginations!
Just look at FIMFiction for instance :V.

Exactly what I was thinking....
So like Camlio said, you sure you mean asexual?
(Oh and I'm loving this story so far... ^_^)

That does happen amongst normally sexual species; in its mildest form, its basically a disinterest in all sexual activity. In more extreme forms, its effectively a revulsion to anything sexual.
Of course, Rarity here got the revelations in the wrong order. Being asexual does not automatically mean being aromantic, and vice versa. She should have figured out what the maid outfit was for first, THEN come to the conclusion that Twilight was not asexual. Mind, this order is such an easy mistake to make, anyone could do it, to the point where its only an issue from the perspective of a Lojban speaker or a rationalist. Since I'm both, it occured to me (not making an issue about it though; Rarity is neither, so what the technical order of conclusion SHOULD be, is almost certainly not what it would be likely to be).
"Twilight wasn’t asexual?"
wow when did twilight become so....kinky
"Oh." Nuff said.
Two thumbs up!
Ok now im enjoying this

Is Trixie part Kajiit or something?

I have sooo much ADD it isn't funny. Don't know how that relates, subconscious being infinitely faster than conscious mind and all, but it does; when I doubt my brain, it's like Feeling Pinkie Keen's Twilight getting injured parts on a loop!
Soooo much ADD...
Ive gotta admit. i was interested for quite a bit... but eventually i found myself highly disturbed at the direction it takes.
The very clear intention behind this fiction is to declare Trixie's entire personality two things. a) Wrong and b) not the 'real' her.
The former point being opinion, the latter point being as far as we can tell utterly wrong and sort of... off.
(Excuse me now, as i plan to psychoanalyse, but since that seems to have already been done i dont really see the harm in applying some of my own.)
Twilight basically doms her into submission, hoping to remove that negative personality and replace it with another one. And for some reason im apparently the only one who find this... truly unsettling. It reeks of surrendering ones own identity, and implies Trixie is on some level apparently unable to stop herself being her. Which is of course ridiculous. Its also weird how quickly Twilight falls in instant love with a pony she doesnt really know. And the fact her first order of business is to basically start changing that pony into one shes more interested in is doubly disturbing. Because thats not really love.. in any way at all.
Fundamentally however it completely fails to grasp the true reasons for Trixie's personality type and instantly prescribes the ABSOLUTE WORST POSSIBLE THING YOU COULD DO FOR IT.
Trixie is nowhere near bad enough that she suffers from a full blown case of Narcissistic personality disorder. But her personality is at least derived from it. So we must understand what causes this sort of thing. What it is, at its most basic, is an extremely powerful form of (consciously or unconsciously) low-self-esteem for a very, very long time. Often it passes into full on self-loathing. The subject feels there is something wrong with them. Sometimes they have something solid to base it on, sometimes its literally just a feeling of self-hatred that has no determinable origin. They just feel something about them is wrong and that if anyone discovered the true them they would be cast out.
Now. The subject uses the attention of others to fight this feeling of self-loathing. Trixie does not showcase any desire to be liked in her behaviour - indeed she almost thrives on the opposite - so one assumes the attention shes looking for is more of the respect variety. This though is why they respond to critcism or anything that might threaten their influx of attention so strongly. Anyone who threatens this is literally threatening the only thing thats keeping them from being forced back into that self-hatred.
Now Twilight has taken a pony with a supremely fragile mind. She has taken her into her home, made her feel in every way indebted to her. Then she has decided to tell her that 'yes, you are right. There is something wrong with you. But dont worry, because i can fix it.' And then she makes this homeless girl she has known for a couple of days into a willing slave that calls her mistress...
Does that leave a bad taste in anyone elses mouth?
Trixie does not need to be in a position where she is being purposefully reduced to nothing. Thats sort of already going on there inside her crazy little head.
Solving this involves getting to the heart of why Trixie feels inadequate, not reducing her even further.
I could write a little more on this, certainly my thoughts havent been put in the way that could explain them best. BUt then im not very good at writing in a coherent manner. I will say that the majority of the fiction is still rather good - though it suffers for the characters occasionally only hovering around being in-character - but its all based around this nightmarish central concept that really, really leaves me uncomfortable. For more than just the reasons ive presented here too, though they are the brunt of it.
Brilliant, like always.
You are making Twilight sound like such a horndog! I love it! I love how Rarity is eager to punish the shit out of Trixie.

That would make this a WORSE love story than Twilight because in that series, domination was for protection whereas here it is for complete personality reformation. Both Trixie and Bella share an unhealthiness, however. Trixie is rude and boastful and this is the "solution". Bella is way too risk-taking and Edward just takes all her stuff and replaces it with things like missile-proof cars, which is better than restructuring a person or pony as a whole.
2096072 you are Not the only One, but on the other hoof Trixie's current personality is dysfunctional and self destructive. She breaks down around Twilight for a reason.
1. Having no evident sex or sex organs; sexless.
2. Relating to, produced by, or involving reproduction that occurs without the union of male and female gametes, as in binary fission or budding.
3. Lacking interest in or desire for sex.
So Rarity either thought Twilight was: A. genderless pony. or B. uninterested in sex. or (Celestia forbid!) Twilight reproduces by splitting like a bacteria.
3647314 I am all of these things! And I am proud!
And with that one line, their drunken-one-night-stand of a relationship escalated into that of an old couple having an marital problems.
I don't think that I've ever laughed so hard in my life.
... I shouldn't find this as amusing as I do.
