Sol is a Vanguard Titan Pilot in the Militia SRS, Maurader Corps. When he and his partner, BK-3891, are sent to retrieve the Grizzly Device Jack Cooper left at the IMC research facility, bad timing and an ambush leads to them being stranded in a barren desert with no life for miles around. How will they get back to the Frontier?

Takes place after Season 3, any episodes after season 3 will not affect this story, just makes it easier to shape the story (I stuffed up with Twilight's castle being in the story, but that is part of the story now, so I added an AU tag)
Gore tag, because Sol is a highly trained augmented soldier with a mech in a land with Ponies who have spears.
This is my first story, but don't go easy on me, criticise me how you see fit.

i honestly dont think its been too long between the 2 games. i mean, Barker, Blisk and Briggs dont seem much older, though many subfactions have popped up on both sides, such as SRS and Vinson Dynamics, as well as new titan frames and weapons, so i dunno.

I think Celestia needs to hear Sol's story in full. It might just change her mind enough, but Twilight will be the one to really want to work with Sol. Cadance is a 50/50 thing as she was around Celestia more. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when the Ponies learn about Sol, Beck, and Celestia's little hunt.

You should consider writing in GoogleDocs. It saves automatically, and it makes it easier for your editor to do his job (should you ever get one). Plus there's the fact that it does a bit of editing for you, what with spell check and all. That's where I do all of my writing.

Why indeed? Is this going to be an Evil!Celestia masquerading as a benevolent ruler, or is she actually taking precautions to find out what really happened. Because I just thought that, for all we know/are being told, the Solar Knights that attacked could have splintered off and gone AWOL to get personal vengeance, when Celestia said to do nothing. Also, if Celestia is secretly evil, then is she really a nigh all-powerful, demi/goddess, or are alicorns just absurdly powerful and have long lifespans?

Besides a few clunky descriptions, this was a good start. I feel like Briggs and Sol should have had some kind of dialogue over the decision to leave him behind, though.
Too many commas in this statement, this should be at least 2 sentences.
And the pacing feels awkward, everything's happening so fast. Take your time when telling a story like this.
