7831847 Maybe Celestia decided not to be so cryptic and told Sunset enough about the mirror to explain why she wasn't a point to learn about it. Then told Sunset to go make friends and due to lack of social skills she decides to make friends with a filly first.
7835933 It is possible, but we have to wait for more infor. Although, I do wonder; does Sunset have the leather jacket or the chevron jacket? The image on the cover shows the chevron one, but really, I think that is an important clue to what kind of Sunset this story will have.
