What Dacl73 said. The future doesn't always mean technological advances. Sometimes it can go backwards. If we were to have an EMP today, we could be put back to the horse and buggy.

Don't know if you've ever heard of Tartaria, but they were making buildings without bathrooms! And what about ancient pyramids?? That technology is totally lost to us today. How the heck did they make those things?

Reading this brought back so many happy memories for me. I loved watching the Teen Titans growing up. I mean the original not the remake I didn't like the remake. Amazing start to this can't wait to read more.

Aww, glad you're enjoying it so far. I loved the original show too. It ended at the worst moment. I truly loved Terra's character in the original show. Don't care for her in the comics, or TTG, as she is a jerk in both those variations of Teen Titans. But man, the Terra in the original show, I just LOVED. She is like the original Elsa in a way, LOL. That's the way I see it anyway. I feel like those two characters are almost one and the same. So many similarities. Almost like how Big Hero Six is Disney's version of Teen Titans...LOL.

The reason for the lack of in-building bathrooms in Siberia was not clever plumbing, but that they went to the bathroom outside because of lack of plumbing. They did have clever ways of preventing wolves and other predator animals from eating them while they were sleeping.
The ancient Egyptians and Native Americans were clever in their usage of ramps, but our skyscrapers are much harder to build. Copycat pyramids are easy to build with cranes and the like. The technology has not been lost, only records that tell us exactly how they built them.

Well hopefully now she can have a better life than in the show. I always felt like making her be reborn as a ordinary girl was a rotten move. I kept hoping that something in her would remember.

I read a good fanfiction one time in which Terra does actually remember everything, but Slade shows up at her house, and threatens her, saying that if she even associates with them anymore, he will basically make life hell for both her and the Titans.

It was years ago, and I wish I still knew what the story was called...I remember it being really good. It was on fanfiction.net.

Maybe you can provide a link? I always felt sorry for the both of them. Terra was so overwhelmed by her power that she pushed away anyone who tried to get close. Beast boy was given true love and ended up losing it.
