I'm pretty sure trying to enslave an entire species to use them as food would be an equally serious crime, as well as the homicide attempts, mind-rape of foreign citizens, assaulting a foreign nation's capital without a formal declaration, and a host of others I'm sure if we dig.

And there's tons of countries that would love Equestria to tell Mistletoe to go get dunked on. Specifically the ones that want to take Equestria down a couple dozen pegs. Equestria controls the Sun & Moon, anything less than a spotless reputation is going to garner massive distrust, and a spotless reputation is diplomatically very very useful.
Also telling Mistletoe to get dunked on would mean not having access to the changeling information network and having Equestria's secrets become conveniently cheaper.
And Mind Control? Mind control isn't against equestrian law by all accounts, It's certainly not against international law. Too useful a tool in the great game.

The damage has already been repaired. The cities are rebuilt, the land habitable, the cities booming population hubs and industrial centers, so the idea it will last for millions of years is garbage.
Imperial Japan committed a laundry list of atrocities, and had engaged their civilian populace in war production in an open "total war" doctrine. They raped whole cities and murdered prisoners, among other things.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the result of a decision to attempt to spare lives. The only other choice would be launching a conventional invasion. Low-end estimates for that are death tolls on both sides in the millions.
Hiroshima and Nagasaki, between them, likely cost somewhere between 130,000 and 250,000 lives.

It seems that the Equestrian equivalent to nuclear warfare was already unlawful by some sort of international convention. Accidental or not, what Cadence and Shining Armor did was definitely illegal in wartime.
Now, I am protesting for an entirely different reason - any competent international council that was deciding what belongs in war and what doesn't would also require said nations to be at war in the first place. Sure, there was an unspecified threat, but no war was formally declared. Thus, they were not at war when the "megaspell" was used.
Also, there was no genocide. Changelings are still alive, thus no genocide. There wasn't even genocidal attempt, as the spell was accidental. Massive death is expected if they really counted it as a war.
I always figured blueblood was related to Princess Platinum and the unicorn royalty. I'm guessing here it's Luna he's related too. I hope you come back to this. And I hope Thorax still takes over the Changlings.
