Pinkie Pie starts having odd dreams, a history on her parent's rock farm she never remembered before. At first it seems like just happy times, but then it gets strange.
You see, Pinkie wasn't always brutally happy and bright and extroverted, there was a time when the filly worked contentedly on the rock farm, but then strange ponies came, and her outlook on life changed forever.
I can promise there will be some darkness in this filly's days, but the end result will be the mare we know and love. Pinkie, don't hold this against me, it was my muse's fault. 
Story will include: mind control, brainwashing, restraining, retraining, a little bit of sadness, a new look at what could have been.
Minor inspiration gained from The Bridle Path, by Penalt (sorry, can't link the story because it is mature).

7504811 Yay, glad to see ponies liking it already. This will be an odd little mind-control story, T but without any naughtiness (mainly for the brainwashing), I had toyed up with rating it E. The show (MLP) deals with such as a side plot, but thankfully a friend pointed out that a plot focusing more intently on that might be a bit much for little fillies and colts.

I also wanted to try and keep it Teen rated, I mean, I could slot this down to Everyone, but I wouldn't feel quite right doing that (even if the show seems to think crazy mind control, suicide, and racism are fine in that ranking).
