Whereas the other ponies in that scene just went "it's Pinkie Pie, don't question it" and let her confuse the changelings for a tactical advantage. The sane viewer did likewise.

Hoping Elytra will go back to the hive years down the line after spending a long time hidden in Equestria somewhere, with some few close friends who know his true self. He'd finally decide to go back once King Thorax overthrew Chryssy and had all the changelings transform into skittlebugs. Maybe even meet Pinkie again, and get to thank Rarity. Would be a nice epilogue.
