Dodge-rock definitely sounds like a Pie family pastime.
Also, I think that's the first time I've heard it called "jaunting." I like it.
Ahhhh Dodge-rock, I remember that game findly... we used bigger rocks though...
I lost a lot.
Awesome job!
Oh?
7245863
Yes.
7245865 i hope it something I've been waiting for. Though upon looking what it probably is, probably not.
So confirmed sense for all the sisters in the recent episode about Maud Pie nice to see the nod to it here.
7245868
Actually's Maud's sense was hinted at in The Weed, long before the episode ever aired.

A lot of folk wondered about Trixie being rescued from the diamond dogs, as mentioned in another story.
What are you referencing?
7245870 i hope for a lot of things, but i figured that would be next, and I wasn't one that hoped to see that. So i said "based on what it probably is, my hope probably won't happen".
I hate CLIFF HANGERs they leave my fingers so sore waiting for the next part.. I feel so sorry for Trixie it seems almost everytime we see her she's had another wagon smashed to pieces
More cliffhangers than a season of Game of Thrones.
Turns trixie bought a fire salamander for a trick. it escaped, ate the wagon, and trixie went after it, only to get seriously ill from its brimstone farts.

next chapter going to be good
7245869 You're right... whoops guess the dates got all fuzzy in my head. Planning for a trip will do that to you!
7246174 Just thinking of an atlernative take XP
Holy crap, I know that reference. Jaunting is from The Stars My Destination, right? Personal, short range teleportation that any person could do. And if it's just a coincidence, well, consider it a recommendation. My goodness, that was a great book.

Holy fucksticks, Batman!
Somebody else read the book... I don't remember much from reading it as a kid, but I remember jaunting. It always stuck with me.
Time to be big damn heroes.
Also, if sir Teapot the Tarnished is forced to charge the diamond dogs and doesn't let out a kettle whistle loud enough to emulate a train, well I'm gonna be disappointed.
7247116 If that happens I will be disappointed with you.
7246804 your book reminds of the hyperion cantos another series that in the long run deal with teleportation on a personal level. That and the weirdest monster ever, the shrike.

The real life paperwork reduction act produced over an additional billion tons of paper a year. They had to document the amount of paper saved by the act. It was a total failure. I love referencing this. It is exactly what is wrong with our government and republicans in general. The paperwork reduction act was supposed to be an example of a smaller government in action. Because small government = awesome!
They had to hire a whole bunch of people to deal with the sudden influx of paperwork and government spending increased considerably.
7248992 As a military veteran, I'm far, far more familiar than I'd really like to be with the failings of that particular act. It was - as so many efforts are - an unmitigated dog's breakfast. That would get me into a long line of rants at ideas that, while ultimately well-intentioned, are so utterly misguided or ineptly implemented that they'd make a disembodied wraith want to vomit, but I won't go there :)

The bad part is, they kept doing it! 1980, 1995, and other times as well... they just didn't learn!
DodgeRock the under dog story.
Patches O'Houlihoof: If you can dodge a Wrench you can dodge a Rock!
If you can dodge traffic, you can dodge a Rock!
Just remember the five D's of dodgerock: Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and... Dodge.
Limestone, what do your Elf eyes see?
