Babs Seed has grown up and matured over the years and she decided to become a soldier for the Equestrian Military. Through her experiences, she has impressed and inspired many others, earning herself the rank of First Lieutenant. For all her achievements, she is seen as a hero to everypony.
Yet, on the battlefield, she was critically injured and rushed to hospital where she fights for her life that only hangs on by a thread. Only time will decide her fate.

Good story, but I just wanted to point out that Applejack is Babs' cousin as well. The only possible way Applejack would be her aunt would be if one of her siblings was Babs' parent and considering that her only siblings are Big Mac and Apple Bloom, that's unlikely. Also if Applejack was Babs' aunt then Apple Bloom would be her aunt as well. Anyway that said, it was well written and I am a little sad that it ended before Babs' fate was confirmed. Will she die like the doctor believes or will she fight against odds using sheer willpower. I don't know, but either way you did a good job.
