Semper English Renaissance Luna. She would be just as bawdy. And with a tweak would be the type to lead a fond child like Snails to the Coney Court for all the drabs and cats and aunts he could want. The terminology is half the fun, after all.

I loved Snails in this. He's kind of annoying in the show, but here I acutally cared about him.
Hmm... I felt the analogy was a wee bit too heavy; but then again, in a short fic, writing metaphorically will either be nearly invisible or will absorb the entire thing.
I'm still glad to see someone else trying out new ideas!

I liked it. When Luna found him in a dark alley after a breakup, and in a dominant position I went "Hooooboy here we go".
But you didn't take it that route, and I like where it went.
I also like how none of the issues are actually cleared up. Snail's heartbreak doesn't end, he just finds solace in a good friend. Just like real life.
