This is adorable. It could use a little editing, and I feel like some parts are a little rushed, but I overall like it!
I like the whole idea of Rainbow having a sister. I actually have an OC that's Rainbow's sister too...their relationship though...is not really as good as Rainbow's and Skyla's is.
Best way to describe my character would be to just imagine Rarity as a pegasus 
Anyway, cute story. Keep up the good work.

Two days ago, I had read one to many fanfics where Rainbow was her usual headstrong self, and I thought 'You know what? I'm gonna make a fic where Rainbow isn't her usual headstrong self! I'm going to make one where she's caring and considerate!' So I spent the day thinking of ways, and Rainbow having a sister just worked to me.

This is cute and all, but I think Rainbow Dash don't have to call 'Skyla' in almost every sentence. It made conversations look a little bit weird. Btw I still like your story, and want to know what happened about Rainbow Dash's past.
