Princess Luna gets trapped inside a text based adventure game, and the only way out is to win.

Let the games begin.

Cover art is not mine and will be taken down/changed upon request. Or maybe I'll just trace over it, because apparently that makes it original, right? /sarcasm

Celestia herself arrived in the doorway a moment later, dressed in a bathroom

The newest from Rarity's "Hotel Room Chic" fashion line?

Other than that interesting detail, this is fun so far.

5894657 Hands down the best spelling mistake (in context) that i have ever seen, i had to stop reading for 5 minutes to catch my breath and plug the tears.

>>lunabrony Really cannot wait for the rest of this story, may just be a "short venture into silliness" bit its a damn good one with great character and humour, bravo good sir. Have a 'stache, like and favourite.

I was about to read it when I read the marked out text. So the bagging on Traceponies continues, as it should. Now, to actually read this

GOLD. Text-based fan art sorely required. :coolphoto:

She was engaged in that most heart poundingly, sadistic, nerve wrackingly stressful moment of rituals...

Extra space.

The grid in front of her was littered with numbers ranging from 1 to 7, intermixed with small red flags.

She's a whiz at minesweeper she can play for days,
once you see her sweet moves you're gonna stay amazed.

"'Twas thy vile machine's fault! I was winning!"

You... know "thy" means "your", right?

Cute. This makes me want to play Zork.

Zork... Sounds like something the Swedish Chef would say. Zork zork zork!

Does this have to do with the board game "Avalon", which is sort of like mafia, but waaaaaaay better? Cuz that game is the shizzle.

She didn't seem to be in the mood for questioning why she never seen it before. she'd never seen it before!

When she had finished, Luna cried "What did that accomplish?!"
"I thought you liked toast," Celestia said.
"I do, but that's not the point!" Luna said. "That accomplished nothing!"
"Sure it did, you got to eat toast."

Okay have to admit this made me laugh. It's just one of those Celestia's a big troll lines that's hilarious. But really this was an interesting chapter. io really like your writing style and you seem to put a lot of effort into this. Text based adventure games always intrigued me as you never know what's gonna happen in those and you have to focus more on your imagination to portray you the picture. Putting Luna (who is pparently a nown gamer in the fandom) in the role of this text based eroine is all kinds of awesome and hilarious. The possibilities are just endless. I also love the way you describe the relationship between Celestia and Luna as an actual sibling relationship. Amazing and I hope you keep it up.

Nice ending, though I'd have loved to see the game won.

5924477 In text based games, nobody ever wins. Especially not first timers.

I enjoyed that :)

Lol. DISCORD productions! HA I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!!!!!

AWESOME ENDING THOUGH!!!!! YAY:pinkiesmile:

"Alright! Boss fight!" Celestia cried, and Luna felt her legs plunging herself forward, despite her efforts to go in the absolute opposite direction. "CELLYWAITNO," Luna exclaimed, but it did no good.

Two character's dialogue in one paragraph.

"I could really use a lantern right, Celly!" she called, reproachfully.

There seems to be a word missing somewhere between these words.

:twilightsheepish:There is nothing in the dark that is not there in the light—OH, NO A GRUE!:twilightoops:

:twilightoops:kill grue

with what?

:twilightblush:kill grue with hooves

i do not understand "hooves"

:twilightangry2:DAMMIT!

FFFRRRIIIEEENNNDDDSSS!

And that is how I see the beginning of that episode of Ultra Fast Pony.

That was a funny ending. I enjoyed it.

~KBO.

Uglier than Celestia without her coffee

:trollestia: ...See you on the moon.

Good story.

OMG! This idea is too funny. Luna gets trapped in a game and Celestia, who has no experience in that matter at all, has to play her. Already the toast scene was a laugh. And Luna has to play explainer for Celestia.

Celestia, you silly dweeb! Really, Luna has to explain you how to play these games. Just the idea: Hit troll with latern. Bullshit. She should better run. Also the ending was smart. Discord had its claws behind this. Typical for him. And Celestia's desperate call of Restart. It would have been cool, if this game was a bit longer, so Celestia can become better.

Toast is tasty. Luna you should enjoy it more. :derpytongue2:
