Crossover with the hit game Clue (as well as the movie by the same name), Twilight stages a murder mystery party, with but one major difference - a spell that makes them forget who they are. Follow to see the mystery!

Also somewhat comment driven - If you have an idea, please, comment on the chapter of how it will go! Please enjoy!

I like this! It's very promising. Keep it up! You are a wonderful writer. Also, I am the first one to comment! I wonder why no one else has? This is great!

I have an idea...
maybe Twilight could've done something with the wine to made them forget, but she drinks a different wine. I dont know just an idea :derpytongue2:

I also just got this account, can somebody tell me how to follow a book?

5465061 Thanks for the comment(s) and compliments! Glad you're enjoying it, despite having so far just introduced certain characters ^^

5465428 Thanks! Also, the forgetting idea is a good one, but I have something set down for that already. Also, you can follow a book by hitting the star! That will save it to your Favorites. I use that to track updates in my fav stories. The box up in the top menu will have a number on it. That's how many unread chapters there are!

Sorry!:twilightblush: my iPod was being irritating and not posting comments, but when I refreshed the page just now, there was like a thousand of my same comment. So so sorry! Still, your story is really great so far!
 Ionamoon

There. Duplicates gone :scootangel: you're welcome :twilightsheepish:

5467305 Ugh, hate when that happens! Thanks for deleting them and freeing up the comments of duplicates. Help clean up FiMFiction!~ :pinkiehappy:

Hey, no problem. Always happy to help! But not with math. Ugh, math. I hate math.
I'm only in seventh grade, deal. Lol

I take it this is normal Cluedo/Clue since there's only the six playing, and I presume Twi is planning on being both ref and victim. So the interesting bit will be how the "murder" is handled since the killer in Cluedo is a player chosen at random in the board game version, along with room and weapon.

5489152 *chuckles* This will also tie a bit into the MOVIE, Clue, which is a downright HILARIOUS film. Seriously, check it out if you can. In any case, Spike will play a small (and, in a sense, large) roll in this fic, and will be the ref even more than Twi.
Also, thanks for reminding me, I wrote another chapter!

This has promise...I shall track it further...:trollestia:

Hmmm...I'm interested by the Clue aspect (I love that movie), but I'm not so sure about the memory spell. It seems...wrong. I don't know, I think Twilight is going too far for just a game. I've never been a fan of mind erasing, brainwashing, memory spells, etc. in movies and stories. To me, it's the ultimate act of disrespect. In the end, our memories, thoughts, feelings, and experiences are all we are. To even temporary alter them is insulting.

However, I'll follow this story because I love mysteries and the movie Clue. I'll try to ignore the fact that Twilight is basically mind raping them all, including herself (though I guess it technically isn't rape because they all consented).

5490387 *nods* I respect that you stick to what you believe in your own moral code. For me, memories are plastic; they can shift and change at the slightest provocation. I believe what Twilight is doing here is merely an advanced form of Hypnotism, which I can totally vouch for being awesome. She's lulling them into a state where their minds are simply more malleable.
Imagine you're cosplaying. Imagine you're open minded. Think of yourself as the character. You remember their personality, you remember their actions and what they would say. Suddenly, you're walking around, 'being' them; the only difference between these two scenarios is that Twilight is taking it a single step further. She's making it so that you're not remembering, but knowing.
Memories are quite intangible. Schema theory is a good one to search if you want a good example. It also depends on which model of memory you look at (I suggest the PDP model, which is the one that connects most closely to how I think. However, the Linear model of memory might also work. It's quite debated.) and what experiences you have had to shape earlier mentioned schemas.
All in all, sorry if the premise appears to be a little grey - area ish and thank you for giving it a chance!

5491377
I still think mind control/alteration is wrong. No one should have that much power over someone else. To change someone's memories, personality, etc. is to change their free will and to me that is an ultimate evil. There has been many examples, within MLP:FIM as well, where mind control/alteration was negative.

MLP: The Return of Harmony 1&2, Lesson Zero, Hearts and Hooves Day, A Canterlot Wedding 1&2, the Crystal Empire 1&2, Magical Mystery Cure, Bats, Equestria Girls, and Rainbow Rocks.

Other examples: The Manchurian Candidate, A Clockwork Orange, X2: X-Men United, Aladdin, the Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Avatar: The Last Airbender, the Jungle Book, Frozen, and Flash Gordon.

Nevertheless, I will give this story a try. Just as long it doesn't cause too much trouble and they're all returned to normal by the end.

5491566 Seriously, it's not an issue at all. It's literally just an excuse for why their characters will stray from canon - after all, I wanted clue characters ^^; Don't worry. They'll be put to normal again by the end of the fic~

5491869
What you could have done was simply just put the characters in the roles as part of an AU or something. But it is what it is. Please tell me that Spike is playing Wadsworth. That would be awesome. And if he is, you have to include the line:
"I'm the butler, sir."
"And what do you do?"
"I butle."

5492794 Of course I'll keep that line~
Also, ce le vie. (I know I spelled that wrong, whatever.) Basically, I did what I did and I could change it and have them in an AU or whatever so that peeps aren't offended, but eh. I don't really want to!~ ^^ I hope you enjoy either way~

Yay! New chappie! I got so excited when I saw this had updated. I thoroughly enjoyed it already, so I bestow upon you ...author food
And a spikestache
:moustache:
(I got the author food one from someone elses comment on a different story :derpytongue2: )
{By the way, I have no idea how to post a story on an iPod. Or in general. Heh heh. Can someone pm me to tell me? Thank you! :raritywink: }

Also, hate to be a grammar Nazi, but I noticed an error:

Should any of you start to do something too out off place of your usual self, the spell with will auto correct the situation

Sorry, that's just my completely undiagnosed OCD going cattywompus on me. It was bugging the crap out of me... Again, so sorry to correct you. You are the writer, soo...
Still, sorry. And sorry for apologizing so much. I'm like Futters at times. :twilightblush::facehoof:

5514348 Oh my god author food *eats your comment up like a starving woman* Thank yooooooou

5514414 With a simple mistake like that, why should I be mad? Also, don't feel bad about saying sorry a lot. :twilightsheepish: I do it a lot too. I'll edit that!

:pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:::pinkiehappy::pinkiehappy:
You're welcoooooome! Always happy to help someone in need of author food. Or a sammich. Or the route to the restroom. Or anything else of that ilk. :scootangel:
Also, awesome! You go, girl! Or something.
Also also, awesome to see a fellow bronette or pegasister or whatever. Gosh, homeschool teaches you alot, but not enough to know what to call a girl brony! :rainbowwild:
:twilightblush: you are a girl... Right? It'd be so embarrassing if not. I mean you did say woman, so... Derp on!
:derpytongue2:

P.S.
There's nothing here, I've just always wanted to use this hehehe :pinkiecrazy:

Also just realized:

Futters

Oh my gosh fake OCD quit antagonizing me-hee-hee!!!

Amazing idea for the switch to Clue characters! I can see it happening now...

Somepony finds a clue about her past life, and once they do, they get those eyes that have the memories flashing through them, like when they remember who they are in Magical Mystery Cure.

...but thats just how I think it would look like. But if they dont have all their memory back by the end of the night, the spell will also give them all their real memories. They NEED to have their memories back, in one way or another, though. Or else, this will receive a down-vote. :flutterrage:

5589642 Of COURSE they get their memories back! :pinkiehappy: I'm not cruel! *hides all my M rates in the corner*

Um... not trying to be mean or anything, but, when will the next chapter be uploaded? It's been awhile, and Im looking forward to the next chapter. :twilightsheepish:

5884469 Terribly sorry it's been awhile. It's musical time here at my school, so I've been a might bit busy. I've been wanting to update this so badly, but I felt that I couldn't properly update it without seeing the movie Clue again; however, finding the time to watch that when I have 2 hours a night for homework and 6 classes? It's been pretty rough. I'll try to update this as soon as I can!

5884474 An M-Rate is, on the fanfic scale, a Mature fic; aka, it is one step above Teen (T-rate). Usually, teen is used when there MIGHT be a bit of blood, but not in graphic detail, or if two characters have sex off screen. Teen deals in more heavy handed subjects than E (Everyone), but generally isn't too bad. It's probably what most of the fics people read on here are labelled. M-Rates, however, are MUCH gorier/sexual. My fanfictions that are M-Rated are VERY gorey (I'm a fan of cupcakes~) and a few have sexual subjects tossed in every now and then. Generally, a Mature Gore tag is seen on the scale of "The crimson blood pooled around the corpse, the smell of rotting flesh striking my nose" to "The crimson blood left stains on the corpse, pooling around it as it began to dry on the body's fur; the dead eyes of the pony stared back at me, unfeeling, as the decomposing flesh gave off the pungent scent of rot and decay." The difference there is noticeable, but that first sentence might be seen in a M-Rate, depending. And, if the M-Rate is SEX tagged... :twilightblush: Well, just picture 50 Shades.

Oh gods yes. There are so few murder mystery stories. I'm glad to see this one didn't end up in limbo

6124837 Yeah, this took me awhile to get out xD

Will this continue?

8795256
All of my fictions are set to continue, yes, and I am still working on this one. At the moment I'm on spring break, which is unfortunately less of a break and more of an excuse for my professors to give me a lot of homework. I've been ridiculously busy this semester and keep getting sick, but I do intend to work more soon. Thanks for the comment!
