The title is misleading, I thought it would be a crossover with Girls Und Panzer.

5073726 I can think of a better tank to use, The Panzer Panther. Rommel HATED the Tigers because they were fuel-hogs. The Tiger's were slow and always breaking down.
5074364 Panthers weren't that better really. All the heavy tanks were. Actually the panther was classified as a medium tank. I'm going with the only tank that could puncture the front armor of soviet T34/85's until the King Tiger came out.

Not really a Girls Und Panzer kind of story, more like one of the BOLO novels where someone finds a old super heavy Battle Tank and resurrects it to fight some deadly foe only it can fight.

Ouch, appaerantly someone has artillery and machine guns of there own judging by how Octavia and company were mowed down. But why ambush Ponyville and not move in? Thats the question. Also couldn't Twilight pull the old time travel trick out, jump back and warn someone beforehand and stop the slaughter or at least mitigate it?

Time travel could be a game changer in many regards even if it can only be used in a limited way. But it would be a good way of bringing back fallen characters at least, hate seeing Octavia and BonBon die like that. Two of my favorite background characters.

Sorry, but I must say this. The Sniper's spotter does more than just range-find and help with the calculations. He is also the Sniper's guard, because when the Sniper is looking down the scope, it makes him very vulnerable to attack as he has little situational awareness. That and a sniper rifle does not make a good close quarter combat weapon. A lone sniper is deadly to those down field, but weak from sneak attacks
Damn this is good. The tank battles are written pretty well, but, unfortunately, the grammar is bad in places. It doesn't detract from the story, but I don't like having my brain put words in that should already be there.

I have a feeling Celestia and Luna are not just rulers that sit at home and give orders from whats been mentioned, but are leading from the front as well.
No Prisoners is a slippery slope to go down, even if you have no way of handling them it isn't right. Its a breach of the Law of Armed Conflict for one, not that it existed codified as such until relativly recently. Then again there on enemy soil now and can soon put and end to this conflict.
