Have you ever watched one of the episodes of MLP and started wondering, "I wonder what Spike is doing right now?" well the answer to that question will be satiated here.
Join Spike as he goes through many of his own adventures whenever the mane 6 are on their own or when he is merely helping others while not on screen.
There will also be noticeable changes on canon episodes but it wont change how Spike's character is. Mostly adjusted scenes and/or different wording.
Lastly, episodes where Spike is the main focus, or is mostly presented will either be shortened or will have most skipped.

Forgive me, I couldn't resist a chance to do the Mathematician Answer.
I mean that here in your story everypony seems to be bonding rather fast with the lil guy, however in the series as it goes on Spike is being more and more forgotten about. He isn't invited to Twi's birthday party, Twi has referenced Shining Armor as her only friend in Canterlot, Spike got left out of Twi's "I love you" speech at the end of Season three even thou he was right there and wasn't even invited to meet Pinkie's sister.

Well that is mostly the reason that i only go to FImfiction for the love Spike deserves rather than the story. In the new season, they've all but erased Spike from the story. Im not completely giving up on this but it isnt something i will hold my breath over either. Its up to us to show the awesomeness of Spike to the world!

well there will be a few alterations, But i'll keep with the overall of the canon version. It's already halfway done and will probably be posted in a day or two max. I like to put holes in the middle to make more of the story. You'll see when you get the update

Asking why probably isn't going to help, as they probably aren't paying attention. Some folks just downvote based on characters, I've seen some stories get downvotes before anyone could have possibly read it.
Fact of the matter is, some folks just don't like, or down-right hate, Spike and will down-vote stories just because he's the main character, just as some folks do with other characters.
