This story is a collection of unrelated short stories written for the Thirty Minute Ponies tumblr.
None of the chapters directly relate to the others, they're all independent stories based on daily prompts. I'm just posting them all here for fun and for critique/comments. Keep in mind that these are all written in half an hour or so, so they're short and a bit first-draft-y, and rather uneven quality-wise.
I will try to add tags to the end of chapter titles denoting the tone of that chapter.
My participation in this is inspired by Esle Ynopemos' six-month long series of these, though I'm not focusing on any particular character like they did.

I could tell you enjoyed writing this one... It feels like it could even work as a prologue to a longer work... Gotta love villain team-ups.

Though making it a longer work would mean I'd have to figure out what the heck Sunset Shimmer is even doing with all that stuff.

Excellently done, sad, but not melodramatic. Celestia and Twilight handled this with the grace I'd expect of the characters, and in your hands less was more with this particular theme.

This chapter... I love it. From the madcap flight across the Everfree, to Twilight's foil to Pinkie's... being Pinkie Pie, to the heartwarming end where we see just why it was so important to Pinkie that they get there as soon as possible. This is a lovely stream-of-pinkieness.

Heh, okay, you got me with this one. The twist of the episode was that the Pony of Shadows was Pinkie all along, and here the twist is that, no really, it's Pinkie.

There's been a handful of entries on Twilight and Celestia now, and I've got to say, I like how you write their relationship. You always seem to give them a very warm, comfortable friendship. It's nice.
Hmm. The action seems a bit sudden, like it comes out of nowhere. I think you're right; this would be better if it had room to fix the pacing issues in the first part. However, the idea of a friendship between Gilda and Scootaloo is awesome.
Also, I had myself a very immature giggle when Gilda mentioned not eating ponies since flight camp. That's a great line.

Regarding Celestia and Twilight, yeah, they seem close and by all appearances Twilight at least had a lot of experience interacting with Celestia. "In all the years she's been my mentor, she's never once doubted me!". Pity they see one another so rarely in the show proper.
This is the story that made me decide to go back and read the rest of your 30-minute entries. This is an incredible story. I love how it ties together so many different parts of the lore in a way that makes so much sense that I just wish it could be canon. And it casts Sombra's simplistic villainy from the show in such a complex light. I love it.
DT's lie at the end is just heartbreaking.

Yeah, "Crystal' was a lot of fun to write. I like fleshing out villains a bit more, and both of them are loosely defined enough to come up with all kinds of neat stories with some work.
I like the little bit of a fakeout that happens here when Applejack heads directly for Carousel Boutique. It seems like an implication that Rarity is the other name on the invitation, until we find out that, no, AJ is headed there to keep Rarity from murdering anyone.

Okay, if this changeling hasn't already crossed the line into hurting Fluttershy just by kidnapping Twilight and impersonating her, she's a hair's breadth away from doing so. Discord really ought to just blow the whole thing open right now before they have sex.
