When Applejack and Spitfire both become romantic interests in Rainbow Dash's life, she leaves on a soul search to clear her head. When she goes past the barrier of civilization she comes to realize that Equestria is a much more dangerous place than anypony could anticipate. Fond of her new life of adventure, Rainbow Dash spends her days exploring the outskirts of her homeland, learning all that she can about the world around her. But what lies beyond is far more than she would ever expect and the Elements of Harmony can't help her out here.
I've given a cancellation to this story, but I'm keeping it up for all those who still enjoy it as well as something to look back on. Much like Leaving Their Legacy, It isn't quite what I hoped it would turn out to be, but I will be posting a new Fantasy Adventure in due time an linking it from here. If you enjoy this, that's great, but this is as far as it goes my friends.

For a human, silk would be one of the worst possible materials for a hilt, but I expect it wouldn't be as debilitating for a pony, being as they grip it with their teeth. Still, I cringed when I read the "rainbow silk" part, and all I could think of was the blade turning or slipping in one's grasp. The surety of one's grip is as much a mental boon as it is a physical one--knowingly using a sword with a slippery grip can really throw one off their game.

"Mono" is not a viral infection, but merely the oft-used abbreviation of Mononucleosis, which is a viral infection. The word "Mono" actually means "one," and is used in this instance as referencing the word "Monochrome." This Dash is made of one color, thus "one-color Dash."

I was referring to the author when I said there was a few places that needed commas as you might see that I don't like run on sentences because if you keep them going too long without a comma they just seem to be a little jarring and when reading a good story I don't like to be jarred out of it.
That one sentence could probably use three commas, or just become a whole paragraph. That's an example of what I mean.
I know what Mono means. Have you ever heard the phrase "Mono a mono"? That means one-on-one, and is usually referring to combat situations like a duel. I was just being funny, because I also knew that "Mono" is the slang word for a disease, so I used that to make fun of the name. Please, believe me. I do know what I am talking about. The approach you take to the typical "love story" genre is very intriguing to Me and I must say that the characters are beautifully written and I can very easily picture this as canon for the show as a sequel or more mature audience based spin-off of my Little Pony:Friendship is magic.
Very well done sir/madame, know that I will be tracking this very eagerly and that I for one appreciate all your hard work and dedication to the fans.
This one took a bit longer, but it also lasts a lot longer. Expect a bit of the main story to slow down for a bit, as I need to explain a few things from this point and have other plans. I hope you all enjoy it though, and enjoy Pyramaze's What Lies Beyond, the song that inspired this story.
