There aren't quiet nights in Appleoosa anymore. After a gang rolled in and kills the sheriff, there wasn't a whole lot the town could do to stop them. They had the guns, ponies, and pure mind for violence to keep the town under their iron-hoofed rule. The town has submitted to their rule, trying their hardest to eke out life until the Royal Guard notices that taxes have stopped rolling in and acts.

Or at least, so they think. Until a strange creature rolls into town. A tarnished iron star on his heavy duster, and iron on his hip. Now the only question is, who will kill them first.

During the snowy days leading up to Hearth’s Warming, Rainbow Dash receives pressing news that she must deliver. She wonders if she can be enough through the hard times.

Written as a gift for applezombi as part of Quill’s and Sofas Speedwriting’s holiday fic exchange! The prompt I received was “Rainbow Dash helps another pony handle grief and loss during the holidays. Romance is strongly encouraged but not required.”
Thanks to The Red Parade for helping me develop the idea, and my friend Mori (who does not have FimFic) for helping me preread before I uploaded it.

In the midst of Ponyville being plunged into chaos, Twilight and her friends finally manage to use the Elements of Harmony for the first time, and in doing so successfully stop Discord from wreaking further havoc on the land they hold dear. Problem is, the way the elements do this isn't quite what they had in mind. At all.

His defeat during the siege of the Crystal Empire did not kill Sombra. He was already dying. Now alone in a frozen wasteland, his final moments approach.

Chapters (1)

Purpose fulfilled and second life fully lived, a Guardian lies down to die one last time. Sadly for him, his dirt nap is interrupted by a multiversal hiccup (which conveniently fixes itself almost immediately) that leaves him stranded in another reality with nothing but a small box of stuff, his fashion sense, and a friend.

Fortunately for everyone but the readers, this isn't an adventure and our lovely ex-protagonists get to take a well deserved break from facing down the cosmic horrors and eldritch abominations of an increasingly stressful reality.

Unfortunately for everybody but the readers, the sudden appearance of a being equivalent to a god tends to cause some ripples.

And no, I'm not explaining all the little Destiny details sprinkled into this. I'm too tired for such refined, principled, drawn-out writing.
