Instead, she discovers a metropolis spun into a web of eldritch terrors eager to devour anypony who enters its gates, and, perhaps now that they have found the one they are looking for, the world itself.

This story was born out of my frustration at being incapable of writing a anything worth reading, and is going to be mostly unedited and unplanned. If that doesn't scare you off, then prepare for a tale "told by an idiot, full of sound and fury".

Credit where credit's due: This story probably wouldn't have an awesome cover if I hadn't seen it at the most hilarious VinylTavia story I know. And the story itself would probably only be half as good (or twice as bad), if not non-existent, had I never read this story about violins and fur dye.

Takes place during Friendship Games

Today is the day of the upcoming Friendship Games! Things couldn't be more fierce as Canterlot High and Crystal Prep face each other in a new battle... but its only 6:00 in the morning right now, and Vinyl and Octavia are trying to get up for school.

Vinyl goes to band camp. She meets Octavia, a shy girl. She puts out the effort to get Octavia to talk to her, and a fast friendship forms. After spending a summer together, one of them may be falling in love.

Octavia has always been a creature of habit, each morning she arises before dawn, plays for the rising sun and goes for a jog. It seemed a good idea to put her experience running to use in the annual running of the leaves competition, but when she finds that her friends have also entered she becomes worried that the competition may destroy their relationship.

But that's just an unfounded worry, right?

When you hear the name Enterprise what is the first thing to come to your mind? Is it a Yorktown class aircraft carrier with more medals and honours than you can wave a stick at? Now that we have the hopefully powerful description out of the way, this story isn't historically accurate (Just a warning but really, how accurate is it going to be with talking ponies?) this isn't a HiE or a PoE, oh no, this is something I don't think has been done much, if at all. But alas: Spoilers.
