But the life of an idol's girlfriend comes with more dark secrets than anyone can count, and as Sunset soon discovers, Rara is anything but an ordinary idol.

This was my first story here on FimFiction, and is currently in the process of being edited, so there may be some unusual continuity errors. I sort of wrote myself into a corner, and as such had stopped updating for a few years. I believe that I have found a solution to this, and will continue to write this story as I have time and inspiration to do so; This story will never die, but I can't guarantee that I will update frequently.

Oh wow! Thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in my hokey little story over here! Don't know what caused the sudden influx of readers, but I'm thankful all the same. I am still planning to come back to this story at some point, and finish it! This I promise.

Once, she was the Countess, the most famous lounge singer in Manehattan. Once, she spent her nights singing in the classiest bars and lounges, and her mornings dragging herself through hangovers and depression.

But that's all in her past. Now, she is Rara, tenant and helping hoof on Sweet Apple Acres, and the head of entertainment at the Apple Pie In Your Eye. Now, she has Applejack and the Apple Family to lean on for support. And now, she has a community and a family.

This is the life of Rara in Ponyville.

Part of the Noireverse, this story is intended to explore more of Coloratura's character within the series and universe. Rara is one of my favorite side characters in the Ponyville Noire stories, and there was a lot to her that unfortunately just wouldn't fit within the Ponyville Noire stories. I wrote this side story to give her and Applejack the spotlight for a while, as well as give some of the Noireverse's other side characters some more development.

One night, after yet another crowd pleasing performance, the young pop star retreats to her private dressing room. And out of curiosity, decides to try out a form of relaxation that she read about in a magazine.

As she indulges in this new "treatment", Rara will be surprised not only at how effective it is, but also at the feelings it will bring to the surface.

Countess Coloratura was going on tour. And Octavia was personally offered the chance to play alongside her. Really, it's a dream come true; Octavia used to love her music. The only problem is that she hasn't picked up that cello in years.

And she wasn't planning to.

It's been a year now that Rainbow Dash studies at the Canterlot Academy of Music. An eight year war has been going on between the creatures of Equestria and huge monsters called Kaiju. To combat these monstrosities, the creatures banded together and let go of old rivalries and created monstrosities of their own; Jaegers.
