This story is a sequel to Alternate Beginnings: Year One

The mares of Herd Apple - Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy - celebrate the birth of Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo to the lone human in Equestria. The mares adjust to their life as dams in a town that isn't happy with their choice of stallion. Doug has to adjust a role he never thought he would have before he came to Equestria: caretaker of three foals.

Reading of previous books is not required, though some events from earlier years may be referenced.

Set approximately six years before the events of MlP:FiM

Rainbow Dash wants what any mare wants in the fall. That sinfully seasonal hot beverage that has its claws deep in every female in equestria. The pumpkin spiced latte. No fall season would be complete without it, and Dash has a plan to get one before they sell out. Unfortunately for Mac, he's getting dragged along for the ride, and knowing Dash's luck with seasonal beverages, he knows getting a latte may not be as simple as it sounds.

Rarity Belle has been described as many things by many ponies. Some say she is the most beautiful mare to ever live, some say her fashion sense is top notch, some think she is a bit of a drama queen, and some just want to see her mosh.

Rarity Belle may be many things, and a metalhead is most certainly one of them.

Inspired by a silly scene in S7Ep9. I promptly took a screencap and made it the cover art.

Rarity has always prided herself as being a generous mare, but ever since the debacle with the Friendship Journal's publication, she has felt the need to send gifts or help to ponies she wronged in the past. The degree to which she acts generously may be excessive, but Rarity knows that it'll be for the greater good. Maybe she can rebuild her damaged reputation, but like most situations, generosity comes first.

When she tasks herself with helping the Wonderbolts, Rarity has no other choice but to perform one of her least favorite activities. It's the worst possible thing, but it's also the best opportunity to show the world how much she truly cares for other ponies, even if that means subjecting herself to something genuinely awful in the process.

It just won't be a clean process.

Trixie's life was ruined by the Ursa Minor incident. In canon, she returned to town upon obtaining the Alicorn Amulet.

Here, however, Trixie heard about the Want-It-Need-It mass spell on Ponyville, about some troublemakers using a love poison, and a group of ponies playing as a dress-up hero to show up their friend. What if Trixie instead decided to get a more subtle form of revenge by a battle of words against Twilight Sparkle's friends?

Takes place during 'It's About Time' in Season 2.

Caught out in a storm and hurt, Rainbow Dash finds herself the last place she would expect to be going for help.

He never seems to fit in. Some of them are dynamic and active, he is passive. Some of them are driven, he is lethargic. Some of them talk, he simply listens. Yet nopony doubts that he is a true friend.

Turquoise Blitz and Prism Bolt have a relationship, to the eyes of most ponies, roughly equivalent to what their mothers had. All it takes is one incident in their youth to form a bond with no words, no promises and total understanding.

And, as is often the case, the strongest bonds are christened in blood.
