Paper cuts are a minor irritation for most ponies, but for Twilight Sparkle they can make her question the meaning of life itself.

Note: This is set assuming Twilight will never become an alicorn.

When her divorce finalizes, Rarity finds comfort in a familiar friend. Shortly thereafter, she makes the biggest mistake of her life.

Takes place after The Last Problem.

She is Loyalty. She will be the last one standing by her friends, in peril, torture and death.

This is what everyone believes. This is what Twilight and the other Spirits of Harmony, Rainbow's friends, believe. And they took it entirely for granted. After the Mare-do-well incident, Rainbow Dash's Loyalty began to falter. She still felt the terrible sorrow of being deserted by everypony, to be forgotten in the shadow of a greater hero.

Over time sorrow grew to anger. As the powerful bond of friendship crumbles as Rainbow begins to drift away, The others discover just how powerful the Element of Loyalty is, and how its absence might have caused the downfall of the greatest heroes Equestria has ever known.

"They take da' pain out, make it somethin' good, somethin' good. Wear yer' blues well, colt, you gonna earn every drop of em'. Yer' gonna be tangled up in blues," the old stallion told Blues, presenting him with the saxophone.

Blues himself tells us of his life after that day and as he explores what it means to be "painted blue"; to hope, to fear, to love, to lose. He tells us as he learns what really makes a stallion a stallion, what it's like to leave something you love behind, and what risks one must face in life or risk becoming nothing at all.

All of this, Blues tells us, takes place against the background of critical moments in his life and as he travels the scope of Equestria from Manehattan to Ponyville and Appleoosa. All the while the songs he learns from his pain mingle with the one his mentor, Moody Blues, revealed within him...something unbelievable the old pony did to bring it forth.

Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo weren't born sisters, they became sisters by choice. In an attempt to help Apple Bloom, Scootaloo accidentally puts the bond of that sisterhood to the test.

Now the two pegasi will learn just how far they are willing to go for each other, and just how strong their bond as sisters of loyalty really is.

Hitmane is the most famous prankster of Ponville, a legend. Somepony capable of pulling off the most contrived and impressive pranks in the blink of an eye and always two steps ahead of the police thanks to her bizarre disguises, deemed too weird and crazy to be considered true.

Her pranks always succeeded in making fun of her victims, but her services weren't cheap. Agent 3.14 always asked for the same two things: A lot of bits, and some candies.

We all know Rainbow Dash had a terrible time watching the Great Butterfly Migration with her oldest friend.

It's the day of the next butterfly migration and the last thing Rainbow wants to do is watch a bunch of butterflies for a second time.

Twilight Sparkle proves she can win a race against Rainbow Dash. All she needs is a tiny head start.
