The Apple family has always had close ties, so when Apple Bloom is sad that her friends are all occupied with other things, Big Mac comes to the rescue. Who says there's no fun to be had on the farm?

Just after discovering her cutie mark, Fluttershy met the stallion of her dreams, Big Macintosh.

...Okay, he was still a young colt back then, and 'Big' didn't exactly describe him either; he was just eye-level to the shy pegasus.

That's beside the point though.

Now, after hearing that said-stallion is the big brother to one of her friends, she becomes excited to meet up with him again.

But how is she meant to do that, when Big Macintosh is so... big?

Apple Bloom finds herself on Earth and is taken in and cared for by a homeless man on the streets of New York. Together, they learn the value of true friendship.

Scootaloo has a great life. Her mother and father love her, and she adores them in return. She does well in school, even if some of the kids are jerks. Sure, she doesn't really have any friends, but she doesn't mind too much. She has almost everything she could wish for. And with her eighth birthday coming soon, who knows, maybe things will only get better from here. After all, everypony knows if you make a wish on your birthday then it comes true, right?

Big Macintosh helps his sister Applebloom to cope with the sadness that only a filly can feel. A d'awhful story of the comforts one can find in sibling love.
