I have been experiencing writer's block, and in the event I do write something I usually don't feel like posting it anymore. I wrote this some time ago but I only decided to submit it now, usually due to shyness or lower quality than usual. But I was inspired to post this after a talk with the friend I mistakenly thought I lost recently.

It was originally inspired by a dream I had about Sunset farting, and it being caused by some monster with a fart fetish. I remember being shocked we actually hear her fart in the show, and when I woke up, I was all "Of course, I knew they wouldn't have any of them fart onscreen," but it got me thinking about it for days until I wrote this.

While working late one-night Principal Celestia happens upon a bundled up Sunset Shimmer sleeping in the school library. Realizing the truth of Sunset's living situation she takes her in and lets her sleep in her guest room. As events unfold and with a little bit of help their relationship evolves to one far from that of a teacher and student.

Applejack asks Sunset if she ever misses an aspect of her home. Specifically, one aspect that can possibly be filled in a big way this side of the portal.

This is not that story. Or rather, this story deviates at the most crucial point. After all, inter-dimensional portals are a... delicate matter. Even if you can expect what you may find on the other side, it doesn't mean it will be that. She'll travel to another world, yes. She'll emerge in a school, alright. A pop quiz caught Twilight Sparkle and her friends off guard. So, Sunset Shimmer decided to put a call out to someone special.

Pinkie Pie has always been pretty into hardcore, daredevil, and rocker types, and aside from her few months with Cheese Sandwich, that's what all of her relationships have been. Thunderlane, the intense track star; Lightning Dust, the Crystal Prep soccer prodigy; even a one night stand with High Winds, the Wonderbolt herself.
When invited to a bar with her latest fling, she sees for the first time a performance of the local rock band. The Rainbooms, she noticed on the sign. And her heart skips a beat when she sees the lead guitarist, Rainbow Dash. Her hair cropped short in a multichromatic mohawk, her vibrant magenta eyes flashing wildly over the crowd, they seem to... stick. To Pinkie Pie.

NOTE: Now that I've relocated FimFiction, I'm entirely tempted to start work on this story again! I'd definitely keep a lot of the characterization but change some of the concepts.
