The enigmatic Sphinx has lived in her temple as long as she has known, and values each of the treasures she is meant to protect, and so when the central one gets stolen, her only goals are to get it back and make that thief pay.

Marcus was just a young man who was just going along with his day when he suddenly found himself in the middle of the desert. As he traveled to find a way to survive, he is discovered by a sphinx who decides to challenge him to a game of riddles. If Marcus wins, than she will allow him to leave unharmed. But if the sphinx wins, then she may do whatever she pleases with him.

Princess Celestia wants Princess Cadence to go on a diplomatic mission to Somnambula, a small desert town outside of Equestria’s borders. After she arrives, she somehow manages to get herself kidnapped again. This time, by a really big kitty who calls herself “The Sphinx.”

"Why am I always the one who gets kidnapped?"

After the defeat of Pony of Shadows, Somnambula returned to her old village. She doesn't quite feel at home in this new world where she feels out of place and where almost nothing is familiar to her.

Turns out that the sphinx hasn't changed much either, and can really hold a grudge.

Prince Hisan, now pharaoh, is plagued by a mysterious affliction that torments him nightly. Ever hopeful, Somnambula ventures forth to seek the help of Princess Luna, for she is now a shining light in dark places. But lights CAN be extinguished…

Cheese Sandwich walked a long, unbeaten path in the years after Pinkie Pie introduced him to his calling as a party pony. He wandered throughout (and beyond) Equestria, spreading joy to others while also trying to find her again.

But the danger of unbeaten paths is that you can get beaten on them, especially when crossing paths with a deadly and determined seeker of the legendary Alicorn Amulet...
