A teenage boy who is all alone in Canterlot High someone with no friends and is feared by everyone in his school with no hope until finds himself meeting someone and "something" changes his world for the better. Now he has to adjust to the new reality. He learns to control this great power he didn't ask for but still accepts the responsibility. Along the way, he learns what it means to be human. Through his new friendships and self-discovery, the boy turns into a man.

Five years ago, three highly dangerous villains were turned to stone. A year after that, Twilight's protege earned her alicorn wings by defeating some of the most powerful monsters in Equestrian History. Everypony thinks they're gone for good. But one young filly...

... she is not so sure.

That filly is Flurry Heart. Friendless Flurry Heart. Flurry Heart, student of the School of Friendship, terror of everypony except the teachers, nefarious for not being able to control her own powers. What powers, you ask? Flight and magic, any normal creature would reply. But that is not all. Flurry is no ordinary alicorn.

Confronted with a choice between joining evil and fighting against it, she has no answer.

Yet.

While going to meet her new niece in the Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkle discovered King Sombra's horn and nearly recovered essence in his study beneath the castle. Still weakened, he was captured and transported to the Canterlot dungeons.

Seeing an opportunity, Princess Celestia enlisted Twilight (the one who outwitted his traps and then discovered him) and Fluttershy (who reformed Discord) to try to bring out the good in Sombra.

However, just as they seem to be making some progress, things take a turn for the strange, as four ponies they had never seen before began fighting in the streets with Dark Magic. Four ponies with unusual coloring, yet who seem oddly familiar...

Sunset Shimmer's pretty content with her life. She's the Bearer of the Element of Magic, the Crown Regent of the Crystal Empire, and has a great group of friends to fall back on when times get rough.

She thinks that her life will return to being pretty normal - well, as normal as it can get with all those titles and the publicity.

She's wrong.

She's very, very wrong.

In fact, there is no such thing as normal life in Crystallia, capital city of the Crystal Empire. Who in Equus put such a dangerous idea inside your head?

With his brother's influence over the pony world growing gradually, the Lord of Order decides to use the original star seed to fight the Lord of Chaos. For that, he chooses a young unicorn with a pure heart to be the original star seed's receptacle and with that she becomes an alicorn princess and the ruler of a new kingdom full of light called Light Kingdom. To help her, the Lord of Order send the Generals of Order. However, the Lord of Chaos will try to put and end on this new kingdom so he can continue with his plan of conquer the pony world, something that can happen when a certain pony arrives to the Light Kingdom and starts to connect with the princess.

Note: This story is a prequel of my main saga.

King Sombra. Ruler of the Crystal Empire, a merciless and powerful tyrant.

...Defeated by a dragon infant and a stallion crazy enough to throw his wife off a balcony.

Now that's a blow to the ego.

"But," Sombra mused just moments before his explosive demise, "at least this is the most demeaning thing that will ever happen to me."

"...Did somepony say, demeaning?" echoed a certain statue of a certain Spirit of Chaos.

An MLP/Pokemon crossover based on my own Nuzlocke run of Pokemon Emerald Version. Update frequency will be determined by the playthrough.

The rules I have set for myself are as follows:

1. All pokemon must be given nicknames.

2. If a pokemon faints, it is considered "dead" and moved to a "memorial" box in the PC. It cannot be used for the rest of the playthrough.

3. I can only catch the first pokemon I encounter in an area. No others. If I fail to catch it, I don't get a retry. Shiny Pokemon are the exception.

4. I cannot catch pokemon of the same evolution tree as one already in my possession. For example, if I catch a Wurmple and it evolves into a Silcoon, I cannot then catch a Cascoon later, as they are both of the same evolution tree.

5. The "Dupes Clause" is in effect, meaning if I enter a new area and encounter a pokemon I have already caught this playthrough, I cannot catch it, regardless of whether or not the original is still "alive". This "duplicate" pokemon is treated as though it were from a previous area, and I am free to catch the next pokemon I encounter that doesn't violate Rule 4. A limit on the number of times I may "Re-Try" has yet to be determined.

6. The use of Legendary Pokemon is most likely barred, but I may change my mind later for the purpose of the story.
