Alric, the Chosen Undead, had spent eons in the broken time of his world studying the Curse and searching for a cure. In his research, he learned the horrifying truth. Gwyn had cast the curse upon mankind when he linked the flame to perpetuate the Age of Fire, fearing the natural cycle and the rise of the Dark. In doing so, he damned the world to a slow and agonizing apocalypse, merely for his own lust for power and inability to allow the cycle to happen as it should.

Thus Alric made it his purpose to undo the curse and restore the natural cycle of light and dark to undo the damage Gwyn had wrought. But in the final moment, while he was on the verge of accomplishing his goal, he stumbled into a trap laid upon the First Fire by Gwyn to prevent what the Lord of Cinder had set into motion from ever being undone.

Alric was cast through time and space to a universe not his own. Landing in the Frozen North over one thousand years before the rise of Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

Can he find his way back to fulfill his purpose before it's too late? Or will he succumb to hopelessness and go hollow upon realizing there is no way back?

And what of the two adorable fillies he found within the frozen ruins of a village destroyed by windigos, and saved from freezing to death? What shall become of them?

Here she still sits, watching the flame wax and wane, looking deep into it's crimson heat. A flame in which had no reason to, but yet had all reason to exist. It had burning brightly before she had taken her as a student, now at the seat of her retirement it now glows dimly, as if almost snuffed from lack of air. The soft wispy embers cry mutely, and here she still sits. Fires are meant to fade in quiet after all...

Agroth the warrior is almost at the end of his journey in Lordran, but when he and his comrades are killed by one of the Lords, they are teleported to a different bonfire. They find a bridge leading to a strange land full of ponies! They still fear the Darkwraiths in this new land, and now try their hardest to protect something they have never had before, something very worth defending: their friendships with these ponies.

Did you ever look at that battered old Knight in the Forest and wonder, What happened to him? Ever wonder what his history was? Or how he ended up there? Well my friends, this story should tell you all that and more.

Long ago, the Elements of Harmony were used to defeat great forces of evil. Nightmare Moon, Discord, the tyrant Sombra. Together, the Elements of Harmony could protect Equestria from anything.
But, that is only together they can. Long ago, the Elements are said to have split apart. Ever since then, the forces of the nightmare abyss have returned to consume Equestria. Each day, more and more ponies are corrupted by the abyss. Only the Elements of Harmony can stop the nightmares, but they are lost to Equestria. The Elements must be found, lest Equestria enters an age of darkness and nightmares. At this goal of retrieval are ponies known as the Sunseekers, those who refuse to let the spirit of harmony die.

This is a Dark Souls inspired fic, though no knowledge of Dark Souls is needed to understand it. By necessity, there is a canon freeze before the events of season 3's finale. This is my first story, so feedback is very much encouraged. Enjoy.

Alfar, a pyromancer scarred by battles and haunted by loss, clings to a dying ember of hope: a promise to a loved one, whispered in the fading embers of a fallen world. But when his quest collides with the chilling emptiness of his former apprentice, Elara, the flames of his fury are extinguished by a searing lightning spear.

Tirek thought it was over when the mares he thought he had defeated used the powerful rainbow power of Harmony against him, stripping him of the power he had stolen from the ponies of Equestria, while no doubt sending him back to his cell in Tartarus. Fate, however, seemed to have other plans for him as he found himself buried under the ground, in a shallow grave that he had to pull himself out of, just as a bell tolled, and in a foreign land that he knows nothing about. At the same time he discovers that he wasn't the only one buried, as a fallen warrior also pulls herself from the grave and sets off on her own personal quest, while also finding out that they are both undead in some manner and that fate has big plans for them.

He and his unlikely companion must band together for the foreseeable future and tackle the dangers of this world, all while Tirek searches for the power that will allow him to break his condition, regain his true power, and then conquer the world, or die trying.
