  I need help with a story

  I'm kinda new to fimfiction, I haven't watched much of the show, and I'm not the best at writing. My story is going to be about a pyromancer from dark souls being thrown into Equestria after almost dying. Do you have any advice for me besides watching the show because I'm going to watch more soon.
