Chapter 8
Agroth POV
"Your home looks wonderful." I say as a look around at all of the dresses on pony-shaped mannequins surrounded by much beautiful décor. She clearly had been hard at work, there are rolls of cloth of various colors lying on tables and chairs.
"I apologize for the mess, I've been very preoccupied recently and with all the hollows, as you called them, coming in and out of Ponyville. I have had to hide whenever they come through." She walks upstairs.
"I understand, besides I have seen far worse." I say, following her.
"You may sleep in my bed if you wish, I can sleep on the couch on the first floor." She tells me, taking a blanket and pillow from the closet.
"Oh no, I am your guest, I could not take your bed. I will sleep downstairs."
"I insist darling, I don't mind at all." Well, it would be a nice alternative to sleeping on the ground like I usually did. But I just couldn't.
"That's very noble and generous of you but I cannot accept. I usually just sleep on the ground anyways, just staying here for one night is a great luxury, even if I were to sleep on the floor." I tell her politely.
"Are you certain?" she asks. I nod in response. "Alright then, here you go." She levitates the pillow and blanket my way and leads me downstairs to the couch. I remove my helm and gauntlets; she seems shocked to see my face.
"What is it?"
"Your scars! How long have you fought?"
"Oh. My face is quite weathered, indeed, and I have fought long. For ages. Ever since my first death, life has been a battle with few chances to relax in between." I take off the plates of my armor and leggings, but continue to wear the blackened chain mail since all my battle scars seem to upset her. I set the hunks of metal beside the couch and sit down in my full chain mail suit.
"So will you be alright then?"
"I will be fine, thank you." I won't be here very long anyway. "Goodnight." I say as I lie down with the blanket.
"See you in the morning then." Rarity says kindly as she goes back up to bed. I sit up and wait for about an hour. She must be asleep by now. I quietly put all of my armor back on and reach into my bottomless box. I put Zweihander away and retrieve the great hammer of Smough the executioner, and the cursed sword of the knight Sir Artorias the Abysswalker. I also take out my Blue Eye Orb.
"The guilty pay the price brother. They always shall."
Unless he's level 731, I can only see this ending badly, I have yet to have a good time in Dark Souls... it's only death after death without achieving or acquiring new items.... atleast for me, playing with the same f'ing gear for like 50 hours straight and i've only gotten like 70 hours played time. This is after starting new game plus.
2584938 Ok, in his defense, he does gear himself up better to fight a Darkwraith (i.e. he stops using the fu**ing zweihander) and keep in mind it's supposed to show you A) How cocky Raymond is and B) That nobody should piss off Agroth. Ever. Just keep that in mind when Chapter 11 gets uploaded.
2585164 Yes sir, i'll keep that in mind, sir.
Now that I think of the ending of chapter 8, he pulled out Smough's hammer... i'm missing out on alot of gear. Just Astora's Straight Sword and Havel's Armor forever.
This feels more like a filler chapter than an actual one.
