This story is a sequel to My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot

As winter time hits Ponyville, there is much to celebrate this Hearth's Warming Eve: The bravery of Starlight, Trixie, Discord, and King Thorax for rescuing the ponies from the false queen Chrysalis; the wedding of Spike & Smolder; an engangement proposal by Soarin; and...wait, what was that second thing again?!

This story is an interlude bridging the gap between My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot and the planned proper sequel My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers. While this story is mostly only connected to the final chapter of My Little Pony: The Draconic Sister - Reboot, it contains a very important plot point for My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers that won't become relevant for the first few chapters of the proper sequel story. As such, while you can safely overlook this story for plot purposes for now, and instead look at it as a great holiday story to enjoy this Christmas Eve; you will need to keep it in the back of your mind for when My Little Pony: Draconic Lovers launches in 2024.

It is Hearths Warming Eve. A day meant spending time with friends or family, to gather around and cherish time together...

For Doc, it typically means spending time with those who can tolerate him long enough.

Except one of those few ponies is still working to the last minute on Hearths Warming Eve...

Sounds like an investigation is needed to look into why his dear old friend is still delivering, and to find the injustices within the system!

Rainbow Dash has a conundrum on her hooves. Scootaloo is nearly twelve years old, but still cannot fly. Not wanting her disability to limit her young life, Dash is ready to take something, anything she can use to get her little sister airborne.

Perhaps what she needs is a little brain fuel to give her some new ideas?

This is a much delayed commission for The Wandering Commenter, who wanted me to write a Looney Tunes-style slapstick comedy with a heartwarming centre.
