Magic and music have so much in common. Both come seemingly from nowhere in the material world. Both leave their subjects enchanted. And both can change lives forever.

In Trixie's case, not necessarily for the better.

With her popularity and prosperity waning, Trixie ends up in a backwater country village called Fall Bridge, and ends up insulting the locals almost instantly, as she is wont to do.

Down on her luck, she seeks solace at the Mermaid Tavern in the selfsame village…

And who should she bump into there but the lovely Countess Coloratura? Yes, Equestria’s onetime most beloved superstar – now known as “Rara” – is also having difficulties. The tastes of music are somewhat less stable than the tastes of magic.

However, the Great and Powerful Trixie has heard her sing. She's been captured by a new kind of magic.

A plan occurs to her: a bold and ambitious plan, one that'll get the once-disgraced magician back on top. For young and trusting Rara is her golden ticket to a classy comeback…

How do you kill a pegasus's soul? Put her in charge of the town's weather, then only let her schedule sunny days and gentle evening showers. Not thunderstorms, not blizzards, certainly not hail or tornadoes.

Nothing fun, in other words. Celestia forbid the weather team make some real weather, the kind Rainbow Dash dreams about. The farmers would never stand for that.

Well, screw the farmers. Screw the fashionistas and screw the library princess too if she complains. Rainbow Dash has a dream and she's going to share it with the world, whether the world wants it or not.

In the year 2010, mankind discovered he was not alone in the universe.

A new landmass called Equestria had materialized in the Pacific Ocean, introducing humanity to ponykind. However, the landmass' arrival had an unintended side effect. The leylines that had laid dormant under the surface had started to awaken, spreading magic all across the Earth. And due to humanity's lack of contact with magic, the energies emerging from the leylines were harmful to humans. A solution was soon created in the form of a potion that would convert humans into the various races that inhabited Equestria.

Not many were willing to change however, but near the end of the decade, a new version of the potion was created: One that would allow humans to keep their bodies, while making them immune to magical energies emerging from the awakened leylines, and also allowing them to use magic.

This new potion was called the 'Transhuman Potion'.

These are the stories of those who took the 'Transhuman Potion' variants.

Changelings have always had a tough time finding food and love. It's a curse, really- they're not cute or cuddly, and don't always have the best personalities. As one could imagine, this would be problematic for a certain changeling that was chased out of his own town. Meet Wind Trotter, a stallion with little thought in his name and a closed off heart to any mare that doesn't meet his 'standards'.
All we can say now, is good luck to this blood sucking parasite we call a changeling.
